  • Great spot

"The property was just as described and we had a wonderful time. The location is great and the views are amazing. We've been to the Island several times and enjoyed this location. Walking to Iggies was a bonus. The owners were great to deal with and very responsive."

  • Excellent Service

"Imagine 8 professional women on a much needed 7-day getaway from our daily responsibilities. Yep, that was us. We chose the Villa Paraiso as our home away from home for a variety of reasons: 1. Philippe, Property Manager was very responsive to all questions and concerns in as little as a hour and/or within a day. 2. Because the deposit and final payments are sent via wire, we had concerns about the possibilities of fraud, therefore, after extensive research on the property and the Property Manager, we gained comfort with securing the villa. 3. The villa is perfectly located between the airport (5 minutes) and boat dock (3 minutes). 4. The price of and the amenities offered in villa are hard to beat. Villa Paraiso is exquiste (exactly as shown in the pictures) and has all the amenities a person needs, include a workout room. So much so, we spent a lot of time just hanging out in the villa. Although, we did have a couple of issues while staying in the Villa e.g. power outage, door jam and missing money, on each occasion Philippe stopped whatever he was doing to immediately address and/or resolve the issue. Oh yeah, don't forget your bug spray. None of the issues hindered our enjoyment... Also, since it was our first visit to St. Barts, Philippe's recommendations for dining and other places of interest were excellent and much appreciated. I say all of this to say, I highly recommend staying at Villa Paraiso. Philippe's customer service and kindness and the beautiful villa made for an unforgettable experience on the island of St. Barts."

  • A True Island Gem

"WOW! There are just no words to describe this place. This home is perfectly located, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The best snorkeling is right outside your back door. Just don't forget your water shoes! The swimming pool is the perfect place to unwind with a daiquiri or a nice glass of wine. There are 3 liquor stores on the island-Miss Mary Lou's, Big Daddy's and Island Man Rum Shop. Pretty sure we hit them all. There are also 3 main grocery stores-Market Place, Kirkconnell's and Billy's. Don't be surprised if you have to stop at all 3 to get everything on your list. But hey, that's the fun part! If you're looking for a good Ribeye to throw on that super cool outdoor grill though, you can pretty much forget it. May want to consider packing a cooler of meat, which can be checked as luggage but must be packed frozen and in its original packaging. On the days you don't feel like cooking there are a few restaurants worth mentioning. Brac Reef Resort is home to The Palm (Friday nights are BBQ night) and The Tipsy Turtle (great bar menu). Eats & Treats (burgers and ice cream) and PoPo Jeb's (pizza) both deliver. Star Island is a great breakfast choice. If you need cash there is one bank on the island. The 24 hour ATM gives you a choice of US$ or CI$. When you're out and about be sure to check out the caves (don't forget your flashlights)! Peter's cave is spectacular and filled with a rich and interesting history. Rebecca's cave was also one of our faves. If you're wanting to feel the sand between your toes, the one and only Public Beach is the perfect spot for that. Tons of hermit crabs there too! The Lighthouse is the gateway to the most breathtaking views you'll ever see. Take your camera! Derwin was also amazing. He was very attentive and made himself readily available to answer any questions we had. On our second to last day, we took a boat ride with Derwin to Point of Sand on Little Cayman. We spent the entire day snorkeling, fishing and picnicking. It was hands down our favorite and most memorable part of the trip. Thank you Derwin! Before you leave the island, if it's the last thing you do, take a trip to NIM Things. There you'll be met by Tenson Scott, the owner and maker of the most interesting and unique necklaces. Just give yourself at least an hour as he's quite the story teller! Thank you, Cha-che, for all tips prior to our trip, the use of your car, and the sharing your beautiful home!"
