  • So very pleased with everything!

"My group of five couples was very pleased with our accommodations, property, service, location and amenities. Rick and Karen are the best hostesses one could ask for. They were always there for us if and when needed for advice, provisioning, tours, whatever. Prior to booking Rick was always answering all my questions and even during our stay, he stayed in touch. Supreme customer service from start to finish. I would highly recommend this property to potential renters and would be willing to speak to potential renters if required as a reference. Rick and Karen were so gracious in many ways, taking care of our reservations at restaurants, booking our side trips, etc. This property is absolutey stunning, with the best sunsets and views of both the Caribbean and Atlantic. It is well maintained and we were made to feel like their home was ours. Rick and Karen, we all wish you the best in your future endeavors as you deserve it; you have worked hard to make your dreams come true! Jenny and Malcolm McGeachy Cambridge, On Canada"

  • Fantastic, trip-of a lifetime experience. Host and home are top notch.

"Our recent 10-day stay at Morne Rouge was fantastic. Our family was celebrating Christmas and New Year’s together with our daughter who serves in the Peace Corps in Grenada. This was a first – our first time using VRBO and (I think) we were Abby and Jason’s first renters. I had many questions and Abby was always responsive and thorough (and patient) with me. Our family called this a villa – located high with a gorgeous view of Morne Rouge Bay. We had a rental car (thanks to Abby for the recommendation of Sixt) but this villa is also within walking distance of Grand Anse and BBC beaches as well as the IGA grocery at Spiceland Mall. We even took the bus into St. George one day and that was quite an adventure. Also within an easy walk was a park we discovered, sponsored by the local Rotary Club, and a stop for coffee and Italian pastries at the local confectionery. The home was just right – three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The “open concept” meant we could all be hanging out together. There is also a lovely veranda (seating for four) overlooking the bay. Double doors/screen allowed that outside-in feel, even when we were in the villa. The lower level is also spacious and comfortable but we didn’t hang out down there much. Three ceiling fans in the main living area provided ample circulation; air conditioning units in each bedroom made for great sleeping. And we all enjoyed the wi-fi. There is US power so all of our American gadgets (cell phones, hair dryers, etc.) worked without a hitch. We used the washing machine a couple of times too. We did a fair amount of our own cooking but dined out in the neighborhood too – Savvy’s at Mt. Cinnamon was a favorite walk-to restaurant. The thing we missed in the kitchen was a coffee maker. But we made due with instant coffee. The steep driveway was a bit intimidating but we quickly got used to the walk up. A few times we drove the rental car up (like when it was full of groceries) but I wouldn’t advise that if the driveway is wet! Abby’s relative, Pappy, provided airport transport and also gave us a day-long tour. There are many guides on the island but this recommendation and his thorough, prompt and pleasant demeanor were very welcome – including a 5:30 a.m. pick-up on January 1. I recommend a stay at Morne Rouge without hesitation."

  • Mount Cinnamon Holiday

"Our family of four had a glorious Christmas vacation in this beautiful villa and the space could have easily accommodated another family or group of friends. Highly recommend! The beach is wonderful but also so great to hang out at the house by the pool, and relax on the various terraces and comfortable spots in the house. Fabulous spaces for entertaining, as well as plenty of privacy and tons of different areas, outdoor and indoor seating and couches, porches for relaxation. Everything about the villa is first rate--impeccable furniture, fully appointed kitchen and a SPECTACULAR view. GORGEOUS. Being part of the Cinnamon resort is a tremendous asset, you have the best property, privacy as needed and your own pool but all amenities and the service and advice of the resort folks. It is really the perfect combination. The welcoming and friendly staff is one of the nicest parts of the holiday--an outstanding crew who are instantly responsive and very kind and accommodating for whatever you need!! The chef got fresh fish for us to cook at our residence from his fisherman for our New Year's celebration and whenever we had any questions they were there in an instant. Also, the owner of the villa, Graham Lark, was very responsive and kind in answering tons of our questions prior to arrival and that made us feel very comfortable and welcome.. Beach area is lovely. Gorgeous accommodations, simple island, charming people, beautiful beach with all amenities. Can't recommend more highly! Don't miss a sunset cruise on the Saavy sailboat with Danny on his hand build wooden yacht. This is not your typical sunset cruise but a unique Grenadian experience and this boat is very special. Also, don't miss the snorkeling or scuba trip with Dive Grenada--owner is Phillip. He is a pro and a straight shooter- will only take trips out when the water is clear. Enjoy your holiday!"
