  • A Wonderful Home in the Sunshine

"A lovely home in a serene residential area, suitable for early morning walks or afternoon jogging. A mile walk to the local beach, an excellent scuba outfit, and a handful of nice restaurants, but do rent a car or be prepared to negotiate the local bus system, because the rest of the island as well as the grocery shopping is a hilly distance away. The house itself was clean and delightful with an indoor pool in the patio area. The owner helped us organize and arrange our whole stay, from car rental to pick up at the airport, to first night's shopping waiting for us in the fridge. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!"

  • TAGBAT 2016

"A group of 4 adult couples celebrating a 60th birthday and a 40th anniversary stayed in this villa in February for seven days. From the initial contact with the owner, and then Fiona the manager, until the final goodbye absolutely everything went off without a single hitch. We used the villa a home base which we returned to each day after touring different sites and beaches around Grenada. It was wonderful to say the least to return to such a magnificent property and cool off in the infinity pool and then relax with a cocktail or two. We have been using rentals for nearly fifteen years now, and this one was by far the best. We utilized John the caretaker for dinner one evening. A must do if you rent this property. Ann the maid was fabulous, in making sure we had everything we needed. The highlight of the week was the Kangaroo Court held on the outdoor dining room. There were many fines levied at those individuals who had transgressed during the tour. We are on a mission to try to see as many islands as possible in the years we have left. Still so many to visit but If we ever come back to Grenada we will stay at Fushi!"

  • Amazing Sail from Grenada to the Tobago Keys

"Marc and Ivonne were the perfect hosts on our trip from Grenada to the Tobago Keys and back. Life on Malu is exciting and relaxing at the same time. From picking us up to the airport, to outfitting us with snorkeling gear, to preparing meals, they both were fantastic companions on the journey. And we can't forget about Mango and Sugar, the two lovely dogs! There is no shortage of activities to do while sailing with Marc and Ivonne. You can swim, snorkel, dive, fish, relax, kayak, sail, sunbathe, read and oh yeah, sleep comfortably too :-) We would recommend traveling with Marc and Ivonne to anyone who is up for a little adventure and relaxation with no set schedules or places you have to be. Some of our favorite moments were: — Sharing drinks at Happy Island off of Union Island where we closed down the bar after dancing with Janti, the builder of the island. — Snorkeling with turtles, rays and hundreds of fish in the Tobago Keys. — Swimming out to or taking the dinghy out to relax on secluded beaches — Relaxing on the mid-deck while sailing to watch the waves and islands pass by Marc and Ivonne were exceptional hosts who made sure that we not only had everything we needed, but that we had fun too. We are already planning our next trip down to sail on the Malu and spend time with our newly made friends in the Caribbean."

  • Beautiful, safe, well maintained property

"From the first contact with Rick and Karen via e-mail thru to the time Rick dropped us off at the airport, they were nothing but friendly, helpful, and genuine. We were a group of eight with ages ranging from 11 to 73 and everyone enjoyed the villa, the people, and the island. Our group was fortunate to be on the island during their independence celebration, and we enjoyed seeing the country’s colors everywhere, learning more about how the locals celebrate, and watching the Grenada sailing regatta. We felt very safe on the island, and walked from place to place without worry. We enjoyed several tours during our stay and all worked out well; the taxi drivers Rick suggested for each were very professional, easy to talk to, and took good care of us. We had a chef Tim Cox come in one night (he had a great personality) and prepared what was probably the best lobster we have ever had. Rick also helped set up a masseuse Surana Ross to do on-site massage for us two different days and she was exceptional. We strongly recommend both the chef and masseuse. A couple nights into our stay we discovered The University Club, which is only a few minutes walk away from the villa. The food and drinks were very good. The wait staff and bartenders were all very accommodating for our large group, and we enjoyed their friendly personalities. A special thanks to Cassandra, Laura, and Devon for allowing us to joke and have so much fun with them. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would not hesitate to book with Rick and Karen again. We have been fortunate enough to travel throughout Mexico and the Caribbean Islands on vacation over the years and this place was one of the tops for sure. Thanks Rick and Karen for making us feel at home! PS I still haven’t taken Aimee to KFC – I am waiting for our next date night.  Cheers Pat"
