"I don't know where to begin! I truly enjoyed my stay at Island Breeze and didn't want to leave. Anne Marie and Glen were wonderful and took excellent care of us during our stay at the Villa. Anne Marie is an excellent cook and I wish I could have bought her back home with me. I can't stop talking about my vacation stay at Island Breeze to friends, family and coworkers, and looking forward to my next trip there. It was close to the airport, the hip strip and doctor cave's beach. Keith the owner is a very nice person as well. I could go on and on about my stay at Island Breeze (great place) and I did feel very much at home. Thanks Keith!"

  • A dream vacation

"We stayed at Lime Acre for a week after Christmas to celebrate my parents' 45th wedding anniversary. This villa is perfection. It has so much more charm than a new villa, and yet all the modern amenities. The pictures - which are gorgeous do not begin to do the villa or the grounds justice. It's a truly breath-taking property. Our family of 11 (6 adults, one teenager, 4 toddlers) were all perfectly accommodated. The staff is beyond compare. Rocky, the butler, is there to serve and meet your every need. He's a ton of fun, and our kids still talk about him. Winston, the chef, cooks the most delicious food from local delicacies, to French and Asian cuisine - your choice, and he tells great stories, too. Everyone loved his cooking, and we had a few very picky eaters in the group. Pansy and Fiona keep the bedrooms beautiful, and the kids loved the towel and flower creations they would create before they turned down the beds. They also kept our little ones when we would have adult dinners on the beach or go to excursions. The two groundskeepers, Spragga and Oral, are both certified lifeguards and make sure the kids are safe around the water at all times, which is so reassuring. Once Spragga knew that my niece and I wanted to find conch shells before we went home, he wouldn't rest until he found them for us - luckily, in this secluded beach location, they're not hard to find! And Oral accompanied us to YS Falls (which are stunning) and watched the kids in the pools so that the adults could go zip lining. Truly, everyone is there to make your vacation the best you'll ever have. Sandals Whitehouse is nearby, and a masseuse from that property came over and gave massages to family members one afternoon. Several of us went walking or jogging (crazy people) up the nearby hill (small mountain) and always felt very safe. The property is completely fenced in with 24-hour security. And it's huge - there are hammocks and all kinds of places to stop to take a nap, read a book, or just enjoy the most incredible sunset views you have ever seen. Every single night we got the best sunset pictures you can imagine. Don't go for any less than 7 days - even that is too short. We could've stayed forever, and I absolutely hope to return."

  • We had a wonderful time in Silver Sands, Dreamin Cottage

"Silver sands is a gated guarded community of homes that are independently owned and most are used as a business opportunity to rent them out when the owners are not utilizing them. Many appear to be owned by Jamaicans who run them as a business opportunity / vacation home for their families. Check out Mysilversands.com or silversands-jamaica.com The owner is Richard. He is a wonderfully attentive man. Texts, emails, phone calls – he is ‘right on top of it’. Checking in before you go, when you are there, as you are leaving. He arranges transportation to/from the Villa via large modern Van/taxi. He arranges a greeter at the airport who has a sign with your name on it who ‘whisks’ you away. The permanent Staff are Miss Ivy & Miss Lilly – These two are top notch – very very nice, extremely hard working. They help you understand the place, they arrange transformation/trips for you if needed. They know who to contact. Miss Ivy is very experienced, 35 years of service, a tiny yet ‘in charge’ lady. She will discuss the meals with you, make sure you have everything you need – a very experienced house manger. Miss Lilly is 2 years in the role and extremely nice, and a very hard worker. They are also your ‘lifeline’ really. Miss Ivy gives you her cell number – you can call in an emergency or if you need something. The cottage is a blend of outdoor/indoor living – fancy outdoor areas, indoor areas with ‘open windows/louvers – open-air-flow design with AC in the bedrooms and bathroom area of the villa. Quite nice and all decorated with great taste and wonderful colors / materials. You can see the sea (about 70 yards to the beach) from both the lower and upper outside decks. The upper deck in the evening just after the sun goes down and at night to view stars is wonderful. A wonderful experience and we’d like to return again – Thoroughly taken care of by the Owner Richard, and Staff Miss Ivy and Miss Lilly. The proximity of Dreamin Cottage to the beach/Commissary/Bar/Grill area is amazing – you can’t get much closer i.e. Front row of houses, directly across the golf cart/road from these social areas, 70 yds to the beach. Awesome care by Miss Ivy and Miss Lilly. Very highly recommended."
