  • Best in Treasure Beach

"This was our second trip to Shatki house and it was just as relaxing as the first. You cannot find a home closer to the beach. There are sdventures within a hour or so but we chose to hang out and enjoy the crashing waves of the ocean, walking on the beach, the plunge pool and delicious food at the house. The water was rougher than last time we came in May so we did not feel comfortable swimming in the cove but, the plunge pool was there for relaxing. We enjoyed cocktails at Jakes and Jack Spratt when we wanted to see other people. Shatki House and TB gets you away from the tours and tourists but, those are just at arms reach when you want it!"

  • Perfect Vacation

"We spent a magical week at Rainbow Tree with our friends. The property is expansive and perfect for a relaxing vacation. The staff provided excellent meals and keep the house and grounds clean and groomed. Laura, Jenny and Calvin kept us well fed and cared for our every need. Aman is an excellent guide whether to/from the airport or taking us up the Black River. Shane is a first mate extraordinaire. The south shore is relaxing and Rainbow Tree is an extraordinary retreat. I cannot wait to return."

  • Best vacation ever

"Out of the Blue Villa, Great Bay near Treasure Beach, Jamaica. After renting numerous villas at various exotic destinations, this was our favorite. It featured a mountain (bluff) protected bay with gentle surf; private & clean fine-sand beach; outstanding views of turquoise & dark blue water; diving Pelicans, manatees & other interesting wildlife; 3 air conditioned king master suites plus a dual queen suite; extensive verandas / lanais, refreshing pool, and an outstanding 5 person staff that serves great food & drinks and does all the work for you. We ordered many unfamiliar local cuisine items from the menu and were never disappointed. We planned to do some sightseeing tours, but ended up never leaving the villa, except to stroll down the beach to a local restaurant or go exploring We dined on the lovely veranda 3 times a day and spent the rest of the time in the pool or on the beach. The staff catered to our every need and automatically adjusted meals to our schedule. On the last night Randy built a bonfire on the beach. The weather in July was 70-90degF, but a steady breeze and the pool kept us cool. Great Bay gets less rain than most other parts of the island, but the landscaping at the villa was very lush and tropical, providing excellent privacy. Great Bay is a remote, sleepy fishing village that is very safe. The local people we met were all very nice and they seem to work hard for the privilege of living in this remote paradise. This was the most relaxing, effort free vacation we have ever been on. Highly recommend OOTB villa."

  • Unforgettable trip. Already planned on a return trip.

"Woke up everyday and said "this is paradise". Wonderful trip. Wonderful place. Wonderful people. My teenage daughters had a wonderful time snorkeling, kayaking and cooking with Shane. It's hard to put into words the beauty of the land and people. Have to go on the black river trip with Captain Ted and first mate Garrett, it's a must. Already scheduled a return trip."
