  • Great Condo, Fantastic Location

"The condo was great, as was described. The location on Seven Mile Beach was perfect. The owner's communication was timely and the on-site personnel were very friendly and condo property was very well run and maintained. The unit itself contained everything that was needed. Will stay there again the next time in Grand Cayman. The beach was right there and plenty of restaurants were close by."

  • Little gem on the hill

"We stayed at Rainbows End unexpectedly from 5/23/16 to 5/29/16 due to problems with the place we were staying in Coral Bay. We contacted Tangi at Caribbean Villa's who went out of her way to be helpful in our move. When we got to Rainbows End and the cleaning woman was working so hard to get it ready for us to move into. Thank you to both of them. I have to say for last minute accommodations we really hit pay dirt. The place turned out to be perfect for us((myself, my husband and 20-something daughter). The furnishing were really lovely and the place was very clean and well stocked. The covered side patio adds basically a whole other living space and was huge! There are ceiling fans in all the rooms as well as a/c in the bedrooms. My only complaint, and I may have entered it in our exit review provided by Caribbean Villas, was the a/c unit in the master bedroom may be on its way out as it didnt cool as well as the other bedroom. It worked well enouh, but just barely. Hopefully the owner will check it out. Other than that minor problem the place was perfect. There are louvers in the doors and around the windows that add a lot of extra ventilation. The pool is right outside the door but behind lattice and foliage that adds privacy to the side patio We loved being close to town. The hill is very steep but walkable. We walked up it in the rain (didnt plan that!). I had flip flop on and had to take them off going up as I was slipping out of them! We would stay here again in a heartbeat."

  • Perfect Couples Vacation!

"The pictures of this beautiful villa do not do it justice! Blue Papaya is perfectly situated in Virgin Grande Estates, which is a quiet, private, gated community in Great Cruz bay over looking the Westin. You are about a 10-15 minute drive to Cruz Bay area and route 10 to famous North Shore beaches. Both Starfish Market and St John Market are on the way to the villa as well. The home had a car port large enough for 2 jeeps and a longer driveway if more car space is needed. Blue Papaya was perfectly laid out for our 3 couples vacation. Walking into the upstairs main living area, there is a large sitting area for game night, dining table, bar area, large up to date kitchen with blender, icemaker in freezer, plenty of cooking utensils, toaster and coffee maker. Connected to the kitchen is a walk in laundry, this is very handy if you are a light packer :) There is a little hall with master suite connected. The porch is AMAZING and had some of the best sunsets I have ever seen on St John. It was perfect for morning coffee, evening "happy hour(s)" and dining. There is master suite in a separate building (but connected) and two master suites at the pool area (one has a beverage center and large sitting area - would be perfect for a family with children) Also a half bath at pool area and a grill. All master suites were equally beautiful, furnished and spacious with plenty of closet and storage space and in room safes. The entire villa has A/C (I was a little surprised since most homes I've stayed in only have A/C in bedrooms). There were plenty of towels including beach towels, coolers and beach chairs. Destination St. John was extremely helpful and quick to respond with all questions, excellent management company! We can't wait to book again for another vacation in paradise!!!!"

  • Gorgeous view, charming unit, gracious host

"We (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed in Gite Mangoplaya's 2 bedroom unit: brightly painted and colorfully decorated rooms are very inviting and clean. The views from the gite are fabulous. It is located on a hill with a view of the sea. When at home we spent most of our time on the large patio and at the outdoor dining table which is on an adjacent deck under a roof (which was handy for at he few times we had some rainfall). The kitchen area is small but functional and met all our needs. Our host/landlord Ray speaks excellent English and gave us many suggestions of places to visit on both Basse Terre and Grand Terre, as well as local restaurant recommendations. This was our first trip to Guadeloupe and we definitely plan to return to this beautiful and friendly island. We recommend you use the mosquito netting while sleeping, as the beautiful views from the windows are not hindered by any screens and if the windows are open, the mosquitoes will seek you out. Be prepared for a very steep driveway and somewhat tricky parking. We'll brush up on some French before our next visit -- this is NOT one of those places "where everyone speaks English"!"
