  • Beautiful home and ocean view

"Villa Sea Watch is named correctly. It sits on top of a rocky cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with nothing to block the view. The pictures on the website accurately show the home, and it's even better in person. Each of the three bedrooms are very large, with comfortable beds, terrific sunrise ocean views, air conditioning and private bathrooms. The master bedroom is alone on the upper level with a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The home would work well for three couples. The main level has a dining room, living room, kitchen, wet bar, breakfast area, and two bedrooms. The open-concept dining/living/kitchen areas are not air conditioned, but are screened in and get a constant breeze when all windows are opened. The pool is large and deep, and the deck has both sunny and shaded areas, plus a propane grill for outdoor cooking. It's a great spot to watch and listen to the ocean. The home is in a private gated neighborhood, so traffic is nearly non-existent - no road noise at all. The area is a near the Westin hotel/casino (a five minute drive on a truly rotten road - but it's passable if you go slow and pick your spots), and several beach bars and restaurants. Cherie, the owner, was a delight to work with. She responds quickly, and went above and beyond what we would expect to make our stay a memorable one. We highly recommend the home, and would definitely return."

  • Second visit to Sea Cottage

"This was our second visit to the Sea Cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Monika and Jorge are such warm and friendly people. We were celebrating our third anniversary, and when we arrived we were so suprised to find a welcome note with a bottle of chilled champagne in the fridge! Since our last visit, they built their villa which is situated just below the Sea Cottage but because of the thick jungle, we never saw or heard them the entire time. We did bump into them a few times on our drive in or out and they were always made sure to ask if there was anything we needed. We had a power outage on the island one evening and Monika was quick to text us to let us know what was going on. We spent most of our time exploring St John's beautiful beaches, trying out some of the local eateries that we missed on our last visit, and hanging out at Aqua Bistro for drinks after a long day in the sun. We even got the chance to swim out to "Angels Rest Floating Bar" across from Vie's snack shack in Hanson Bay one afternoon. If you are looking for a romantic, secluded cottage for your next visit to St John you will fall in LOVE with this place. We will not hesitate to book our third trip here!!!"

  • We loved Villa Tangara!

"We were three couples who stayed in Villa Tangara, part of Villa BouBou. We had a great time at this wonderful house with four bedrooms (each with its own bathroom). The backyard that extended to the lagoon and the sea was awesome! We spent hours relaxing there and enjoying the water. Since the house is near the marina and a public beach, we had a constant view of windsurfers and para-sailers--wonderful to watch. There were also three kayaks for our use. The kitchen was clean, nicely appointed and very well stocked, and the house had all the modern conveniences and a Weber grill. The housekeeper was very nice and the gardeners were attentive. Nicole, the property manager was lovely and extremely responsive to our questions. She made sure someone met us at the airport and brought us to the house, and she arranged for a tour for our group when we wanted a day out. If we needed something or had a question, she was quick to reply in email or to send someone to the house. This is a great house for maybe 2 families or up to 4 couples. Unfortunately, the week we were there, the golf cart was out for repairs, so we didn't get the use of that, but the town is only 15 minutes away, walking, and there are two bikes at the house. St. Francois has a supermarket, and we were able to do shopping and bring things back on the bike with a basket. We would strongly recommend the Villa Tangara as a great house for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation."

  • Wonderful unit

"My husband and I just returned from a wonderful time at this location. The unit is very clean and close to beach, pool, grocery store, and restaurants. The owner was prompt to respond to our issues with the tv and computer. He stayed on the phone with us until we resolved some technical issues. Everything we needed was there for us. You will not regret staying here!!"
