  • Amazingly beautiful!

"I truly enjoyed the privacy of the villa. The staff was phenomenal. The chef food was delicious. Christ Sandra, Tasha and Nicole were outstanding. We felt as though we were with family. The service was professional and the cleanliness was impeccable. I'll be booking again soon as everyone is asking when are we going back."

  • This is the villa for you if you are looking for an intimate family vacation away from the resort

".What a beautiful place to vacation with family and friends, so private and very relaxing and secure. We took family and friends and had the time of our lives here and were treated like royalty. We hired the lovely lady named Dorothy who did the cooking for us and the meals were amazing, what a cook. We ate dinner every night at home, Dorothy and Christopher combined make a wicked jerk chicken, the best we had every had. Dorothy can cook pretty much anything the woman should have a restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious. We also had the pleasure of having Christopher the Groundskeeper who tended to our every inquiry with extensive knowledge and integrity and kept the place so nicely manicured. The beautiful property has lots of fruit trees which we sampled including some fresh coconut which was an amazing experience in itself. They were both hard at it from morning to night making sure any and all of our requests were met. We did a lot of day trips and chose to hire the optional driver named Lennox and I certainly would recommend him as he knew where everything was and was always on time and waited for us at the events we attended. I would not recommend driving in Jamaica as its very different than the way we drive here in North America. The dogs at the house are Christopher's companions and gave us a little piece of mind as they are very alert and so loving and enjoyable, we were missing our pets so we kind of adopted them for the 10 days we stayed, what a pleasure to have around, I have never seen dogs with such good manners. I would totally recommend this villa if you are looking to stay on budget and enjoy family and friends in private without the crowds of a resort this is the place you want to be, wish we could of stayed longer but all good things must come to an end, if we go back we will be going here, such an enjoyable place and totally relaxing, hats off to Dorothy and Christopher you made our stay one we will never forget."

  • We'll be back!!!!

"We joined friends for almost a week at Sea Rose Villa. Adassa, Michele and Dave, the house staff, gave us a sense of joining a family too. They were gracious and helpful. Adassa is a wonderful cook. The Villa is well designed and decorated for relaxation. We felt at home. Hugh is a thoughtful and very safe driver. He also has a wealth of knowledge regarding Jamaica. An added delight was his knowledge of the best jerk places. He'll pick you up, even late evening, if you have a last minute craving for jerk. There are two basic beach restaurants near Sea Rose, Flavours and Sharkies. Another jerk place ,The Ultimate Jerk restaurant, even has rabbit jerk. The nearest Scotchies is in Ocho Rios. We stopped at the Montego Bay Scotchies on our way to the airport to eat lunch and buy food for the plane. Progressive Foods is a large supermarket one passes on the road from the airport to the villa. They have a pharmacy. We enjoyed their produce. It's a great place to stock up on family snacks, chocolate, children's cereals, cheeses and cold cuts. They have a great variety of juices, beer and wine. The market in Runaway bay is small. We bought rum at the airport from a very small selection, which was a mistake. We found the same prices and a greater selection (twenty + ) of rum at Progessive. They also offered us the best exchange rates when we paid in dollars. Call Hugh (876) ...... 310 ........// 7306 anytime. We sent an email in advance of our arrival via Hugh asking Adassa to buy some greek yogurt for our breakfast. We've never had yogurt so delicious. We also asked her to buy lots of baby papayas, baby bananas (very sweet) pineapple and calalou (Jamaican spinach). Her ackee and cod (the cod is more texture than flavor) is delicious, we wanted ackee and calalou every day! Ruby goat farm will deliver goat yogurt, feta and chèvre, to Runaway bay. Just send an email to Ruth, whose address is on the Ruby goat farm's website. Maybe she can deliver a coconut goat cheese cake too!!!! STUSH in the BUSH is a farm to table experience not far from Runaway bay and is a great outing. We brought Adassa some decaf herbal teas from the U.S. We're glad we did, since when you leave you'll wish you could do some thing special for her. The Sea Rose villa owners were quick to respond to our questions and gave us great advice. They've a nice oasis in the Sea Rose Villa."

  • luxury vacation in Paradise!

"This was a family gathering with very special meaning. Everything about Amanoka was superb especially the staff. They were properly unobtrusive but took care of our every need. The food was excellent and Cliff did a great job meeting the tastes of both the adults and children. The property itself was far above our expectations! The beach area, pier, and the multiple seating areas were just perfect. The best pina coladas ever! We loved it!"
