  • Great location for an Exumas adventure

"We had a great time in the Exumas and the duplex was a great place to stay for us. We rented both sides of the duplex and were very comfortable staying there. The amenities are as advertised and the beauty of the Exumas is amazing. The property itself is a bit weathered, but overall clean. Most of our time was spent on or at the water. Henry was great to work with and helped set up the private plane from Nassau to Black Point and back. He also met us at the Nassau airport the first day and gave us a tour of Nassau and took us shopping for groceries (highly recommended to do in Nassau) - above and beyond any other property owner I've worked with in the past. Every night Santos would stop by the house to check in and see if anything was needed. We rented a small boat to explore the Cays and went out almost everyday exploring. Black Point is a great launching place to do this, as the moorings and public dock are accessible and everyone in Black Point is super friendly and helpful with anything you need. Black Point itself is laid back and simple with Lorraine's, Deshemond's, and Scorpio's as the main places to grab lunch or dinner and a few grocery stores (with limited stock) should you run out of something. We found ourselves up at Stainel Cay Yacht Club for a couple meals as well during our stay, but the easy going style of Black Point suited us great for a place to be based out of and we are already discussing going back next year. As the Bahamian immigration officer said when we told him we were going to the Exumas - "OK, I'll see you again next year""

"We were fortunate enough to stay at the Alexandra 3209 last week and loved every blessed moment!! The 1-bedroom condo was very clean and spacious with a full kitchen, dining/living room, master bedroom (with an abundance of hangers and storage for your clothes), adjoining master bedroom with double-sink and 4 piece bath, as well as, a second 2-piece bathroom and a stacked washer and dryer. The kitchen was well appointed with full appliances. My favorite, of course, was the huge balcony that spanned the whole length of the condo. This is where we ate all our meals and I spent my evenings reading. The view was wonderful!! The condo is located directly on the spectacular Grace Bay Beach which, no surprise, is always on the best beaches in the world according to travelers. The water is clear, the sand white powder and don’t be surprised to see a baby stingray or starfish enjoying the warm and calm waters with you!! This was the only vacation that we did not have to get up early to reserve a beach chair!! No matter what time of the day, there was always enough chairs and umbrellas for everyone. The TCI VIP Club Beach Butlers, Joshua, Charnelle, and Alrick, were all amazing and provided cold water, paddle boats, floaties, etc. Alrick even gave my husband a lesson on the SUP and surprised me with a couple of dried sand dollars to take home. We enjoyed long pleasant chats with all the Beach Butlers!! There is an onsite restaurant at the Alexandra where we enjoyed dinner our first night and breakfast the following morning overlooking beautiful Grace Bay Beach. The Front Desk personnel were all wonderfully pleasant and very helpful to any of our inquiries. Booking directly from condo owners can sometimes be daunting, however, rest assured this will not be the case with Elen. Her lightening-speed responses were impressive but her attention to the details blew me away. She even helped me book an extra night accommodation with another TCI VIP Club owner/member. From my initial contact with Elen, she kept in contact every step of the way. Before leaving she provided an abundance of information on Turks and Caicos to help us plan our stay. Elen contacted us upon arrival to ensure we were checked in okay, during our stay to ask if all was good and if we needed anything, our last day prior to checkout and, as any good hostess, checked in on us after we arrived home to ensure we got home safely!! WOW, IS ALL I CAN SAY!!"

  • Paradise found!

"What a beautiful well kept villa! Very clean and tastefully decorated, and it really had everything you would need, in your home away from home! It was hard to decide if we should explore the island or stay and enjoy the magnificent view by the pool! We did manage do to a little of both! Everything was as promised and Deborah is wonderful to work with, She was always quick to respond from the beginning of the rental process to the end. The area is very nice so much beauty just driving around Oyster Pond. We loved feeding Iguanas at the bottom of the hill by the Westin, they live near a little pond there. The restaurants were all wonderful in that area with our favorite being Busby's by day & Daniels By the Sea in the evening. This is the same place but they change into a fantastic Italian restaurant in the evening. The view is gorgeous by day and evening and they have a wonderful breakfast! Mama's Pizza was a fun place to dine as well & Dinghy Dock! We watched the Cleveland Cavs win the 2016 NBA title at the Dinghy Dock, so if you want to watch a favorite sporting event that is the place! They have a make your own drink special and you really do make your own! We did visit Isle of Pinel and Anguilla, both were fantastic and we would recommend both! So much to do.. We wished we had more time. All of the beaches are wonderful but our favorites were Cupecoy and Nettle Bay. Mullet Bay is wonderful calm water to swim in as well. You have to take an afternoon to have drinks and lunch at the Sunset Bar and watch the planes come in at Maho Beach! If you are wondering where to stay, do not hesitate to stay at Villa Caribella! Everything was as promised and more and the Island of St. Maarten is fantastic! I will say the French side was incredible, St Martin!! Check out Rancho Del Sol, cozy, outdoor seating with a view and a wonderful menu & drinks! We loved our vacation and Villa Caribella!"
