  • Fantastic family vacation

"We rented the villa at the last minute- literally the last minute. The owner was fantastic and incredibly responsive on a Saturday to arrange the start our vacation at Eau Claire the next day (Sunday). We brought our 3 year old son, and had an amazing vacation. The pocket beach on the property was easily accessible for our son down the stairs, and the water was warm (even in the morning), shallow, and calm. There were fish, turtles, lizards, and pelicans as constant companions making a great natural environment. It is an easy walk/swim through the water (even carrying a 3 year old) to the larger and mostly unused Little Magen's beach where there is a spot of decent snorkeling off the near side. The location is great for day trips- including to the car ferry terminal to St. John. We stayed in the 2BDR/1BA which has plenty of space, a fantastic deck looking out across the bay, and is well appointed and comfortable. We used the AC sparingly when going to bed, and the screens were very good at keeping out bugs. The laundry on the property was essential and makes packing light feasible."

  • A breathtaking view of the sea is yours when dining on your open air porch

"We spend a February week in St Francoise and really enjoyed our time. The entire island is quite low key - only small hotels and beach bungalows, and almost all of the tourists were French - only met one American couple the whole week. This house was well situated, in a protected enclave down a quiet street. The development has 17 houses, most used for vacationers. While the neighbors were quite close, it was relatively quiet and private. The house is bright and very airy and the best feature is the wrap-around porch with a magnificent view of the sea. Dining outside is a real treat. You hear the waves crashing all day long and you can swing in the colorful hammock. While the pool is quite small - it is good for cooling off. The kitchen was large, easy to use and we found what we needed. Many beaches nearby so you can go to a different one each day. Definitely visit the MEMORIAL ACT which is a museum that just opened, about 45 minute drive in the capital."

  • Beautiful and convenient location. Loved our stay

"Wonderful 4 bedroom villa with unbeatable views. Excellent location that was <15 min from the best beach (Orient), best shopping (Phillipsburg), and best restaurants (Grand Case) on the Island."
