  • Relaxing and peaceful property

"We were here March 2016. Group of 4 adults. 1st time not using an all inclusive resort. Large 2 bedroom + loft unit. Very spacious, clean, and unbelievably quiet. We couldn't believe how the only sounds we heard were the waves of the ocean. View from 2nd floor balcony was beautiful. Even though there is a parking lot in between the condo and the beach, you can't see it through the landscaping and it isn't used at night. The view from the bedrooms balconies were of the mountains and the surrounding village. All of us thought the beds were incredible! Clean. The unit had all we needed and the manager Julie answered all our questions quickly and effectively. We asked for a BBQ and she got one. The loft would only be good for children as it is open concept into the living room / kitchen area so sleeping in the a.m. would be difficult if that was a need. We had a cleaning lady come in once and she did a great job. We wish we had more towels in between the once visit. There is a washing machine but we didn't end up using it. Parking included. Building is very safe and is locked on all sides. We wish we had been given 4 keys instead of 2 as difficult when we were going back and forth to the beach at different times but not a huge deal. The pool is small and walled in without a view. You would never use it during the day as there is no wind and the area gets very hot. We used it at the end of the day for a cool off. The beach is beautiful (with the exception of some minor seaweed but we know that this is common throughout most if not all the Caribbean right now). It's in a relatively quiet area of the Orient Beach scene but a close walk if you need more action and about 15 minute walk to the nude beach (which is calmer as its in a bay). We weren't happy with the service at Waikiki Beach which provided the chairs/umbrellas as part of the condo deal. They NEVER came and asked us for service (drinks or food). They would only serve the customers of Waikiki and we weren't allowed to sit in the more comfortable chairs. They would take the umbrellas away at 3:30/4:00 if the cruise customers had left as they wanted to go home. The bathrooms at Waikiki were gross!!!! We saw staff using the chair sheds to have sex with tourists! Thank goodness we were a short walk to our condo. Night life is quiet. A short walk to the Village - pricey but good. They take US dollars at par at most places which was good for us instead of Euro. Highly recommend Princess Eden unit!"

  • Excellent Location with nice amenities

"This is a great location as it faces east so in shade late afternoon. Perfect beach with palms trees, iguanas, beach chairs, a outdoor bar steps away! Perfect place to unwind at end of day of exploring. Close to Red Hook shops, ferries... Comfortable condo with great breezes thru the unit. Everything you need provided: beach towels, noddles, cooler, Quiet and Private Complex, would go again!"

  • Paradise for the Family!!

"Everything from owner communication to the property and the location was five stars! The photos online don't do the place justice. We rented a car in Belize City and drove to Hopkins - make the trip in the daylight (we didn't!). The house is just far enough away from town to feel like you have a private beach, but close enough that you are in the middle of all the fun in minutes. The full kitchen is perfect, but if you want to grill steaks, chicken or seafood, bring some in dry-ice from the US (not much in terms of fresh meats and seafood in the markets). The kids spent hours each day in the water, snorkeling and jumping off the pier. Eating on the covered pagoda at the end of the private pier was a favorite for everyone. The owner was out of the country when we were there, but very attentive and responsive via email. We've used VRBO many times before, but this was by far everyone's favorite. What a gem this property is! Things to do while you are there? -Tina's Kitchen for a traditional meal. -"Hopkins Kulcha Tours" (Charlton is an amazing guide - we went to Mayan Ruins, St. Herman's Cave and Blue Hole Park). -Waterfalls, hiking and diving in the jungle/mountains around Hopkins (30 minutes away) -Thongs Cafe for Breakfast (amazing juices and smoothies!) -Sit, relax and enjoy!!!!"
