  • Perfect!

"Spent a week there (our first time in the Bahamas) with my son & his wife & thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I can't disagree with comments in the other reviews. The water was warm, sand soft, and enjoyed both sight seeing & just laying on the beach & decompressing. The beach is literally 10 steps from the back porch. The owner, Bruce, and the property manager, Andrew were extremely helpful & responsive to all questions & made the trip easy. We found Andrew's chef skills superb. He cooked for us 3 nights. He has a menu, (it's easy to order too much!) but be sure to ask for cold Stone Crab if it's in season - it reminds me of Dungeness crab, but easier to eat. His Conch chowder (Manhattan style) is fabulous. We'd definitely like to come back."

  • Wonderful Retreat

"When you enter Albatross Nest you find yourself in a spectacular retreat with panoramic views overlooking the vast Caribbean, the coastline of St. Lucia and the island of Martinique. Sailboats and and ships are mesmerizing to watch day and night as you gaze down at the sea and out on the horizon. The beaches below the villa in front of the Cap Maison and Le Sport resorts are a 5 minute drive away and welcome visitors for swimming, sunning and water sports. They are also good places for lunch and dinner. But you don't want to miss the sunsets at Albatross Nest while floating in the pool with an evening beverage or lounging on the terraces and open living room. We found that we often wanted to stay for dinner and got groceries in Rodney Bay, just a ten minute drive away. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a great outdoor grill. The staff is outstanding with a manager who will arrange anything you need. We had a wonderful day on a boat down to the famous Pitons. The housekeeper and gardener kept the house and grounds immaculate and were very friendly and accommodating. We rented a car, which was all arranged by the house manager, and delivered and picked up at the house. The driving can be a bit challenging but easy enough and good to have the mobility and flexibility for short trips to the market, restaurants and beaches. We'd recommend a cab for longer trips like to to the airport, Pitons or rain forest. Overall, we had a verymemorable family experience."

  • Flamands Gem

"I've been visiting St. Barths since 1980 and have stayed in a variety of lodgings. Villa le Perchoir has been, from multiple visits over the years, the best by far. It has gorgeous views of Flamands beach, total privacy and a spacious, comfortable and practical layout. It is the perfect romantic getaway for a couple. It's also an excellent value on an island not known for bargains. Michel is extremely responsive in resolving the inevitable minor issues which can arise on vacation."

  • Fabulous vacation, amazing beach

"This our 3rd visit to Aruba and we wanted to add some more time on to our weeks timeshare. Serenity was the perfect place for us. The beach was beautiful and the condo plenty big enough for my husband and I and our two teenagers. The pools were uncrowned and clean, the sunsets magnificent, and we were lucky enough to see a nest of turtles eggs hatching. We will definitely be back."
