  • Great house in a great location

"This is a great property with a great location. It’s in a quiet neighborhood north of town but close enough for easy access to any services or restaurants in town. It’s also well on the way to the dozens of the northern west coast dive sites so you're at the first with a five minute drive. The standout feature upstairs are beautiful louvered hardwood sliding doors that fan-fold and make the walls disappear so that the house opens up to great airflow, wraparound decks, views of the ocean and a feeling of being completely outdoors. We're foodies and appreciated the kitchen-- very modern, nicely laid out and well equipped. And with the sliders open it's a few steps out to a great breakfast view in the morning and cocktails in the evening. All the downstairs bedrooms have their own split A/C units, generous storage areas and the same type of louvered hardwood doors that let them be closed and private or open and airy. There’s a lot to do and see on Bonaire so there were lots of activities competing for our attention but if you want a lazy end of the day it’s a pleasant walk thru the neighborhood to the closest beaches for sunsets into the water. The house is a great home base for any mix of Bonaire visit activities."

  • Excellent house + location!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Mirella. The villa was beautiful, had a fantastic view, very clean, daily maid service was excellent, wifi was a bit spotty but not a big deal and it was in a fantastic location right on the border of the Dutch / French. Our group is already planning our next trip to La Mirella!"

  • Diver's Paradise! A Wonderful Place to Stay!

"My husband and I spent a week here in unit A1. We absolutely loved it. Mieke, the representative for the condo management company met us at the car rental place upon arrival and showed us to our condo. She gave us lots of information including some of her favorite dive sites and restaurants. The condo was nice, cold and clean, and we were able to fall right asleep after a long day of travel. The location is right near the dive shop we used, Dive Friends who were more than accommodating. Being apart of Sand Dollar we had 24 hour access to the tanks and their carts that way we could load up early or late in the evening and be on the go first thing. The condo itself is in great shape and so convenient for diving. It is fully stocked with kitchenware including a cooler and water jug which we used daily for our diving snacks/drinks and thank goodness a blender. We ate/cooked most all our meals in the condo. Another thing is I can't stress how nice it was to be to hang dry our gear on the patio. The patio had everything we needed to dry our stuff and we felt actually safe leaving it out there (while we were present). I absolutely look forward to coming back and already have recommended A1 to many family and friends."

  • Very nice but...

"Rented this house for my wedding (altho not wedding location) and it was very nice however has some cons: - every toilet leaked - pool light did not work and was told it could takes weeks to come in..??!! there was no light on the pool area at night at all. - needs updating: furniture was older and not too comf, all moldings were cracked, kitchen was band aid fixed after other repairs - kitchen sink pipes burst which flooded the cabinet and connecting cabinets - garage doors were broken so could not park rentals in there and the driveway was VERY tight - altho this is part of a country club community, you are NOT able to use the communal facilities without paying more money daily because the owner does NOT have a membership with Tierra Del Sol so that cost is on YOU. This leaves the renter to just the house and pool. - the electricity is monitored by owner very closely...which is obsurb...for a rental. You will be charged $$ if you go over a certain amount. - property mgr is nice however....he shows up quite often to "check" on things and YOU and what's going on in house and the people staying. Very uncomfortable."
