  • Family Vacation

"From start to finish we had the most amazing family vacation!! Jose met us at the airport with a friendly smile, he then met us at the Hertz rental car facility and after getting our rental car we followed him to the IGA. It was a Sunday so my husband was not able to purchase any beer in the grocery store so we followed Jose to a store to get a beer to get my husband through. I on the other hand was with out wine for my first night. Jose let me know he would take care of it after delivering us to the villa. After getting supplies we followed Jose to the amazing Aqua Villa. Jose gave us a tour and let us know where everything was we would need. He then left to get us paper towels and appeared with not only paper towels but also a lovely bottle of wine for me to get my first night of vacation started. The house was wonderful and very comfortably accommodated our family of 5. The view from Aqua Villa are amazing .... we arrived before the day before the start of lobster season and as promised Jose brought us lobster tails on Tuesday. But not only did he bring us lobster tails, he insisted on cooking them as well and amazing they were. I would highly recommend Aqua Villa for couples and families of children a little older. So sad to now be home with two of my children back to college but so great to spend our last full week of summer all together at Aqua Villa and in beautiful Turks and Caicos."

  • Good location. Good value for the price.

"The place was well maintained. Had both air conditioners and fans which was a real plus! Roof patio was a wonderful spot at the end of the day. Great views! All the beach gear and coolers came in real handy. Fajado was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Alana was friendly and helpful in suggesting sites to see and tour companies. Plus the unit is well stocked with brochures."

  • Our home away from home

"We first visited the "our villa" 10 years ago for our honeymoon, coming with our two kids (adolescent) and my BFF. 10 years have flown by (and the kids just about grown) and we all came back to celebrate and it felt like we had never left – it felt like our island home. We have only been back to reality 2 days and we constantly are looking back at our pictures and dreaming of being back there -- overlooking the breathtaking view of Coral Bay, hearing the cockadoodle-doo of the roosters and the hee-hawing of the donkeys each morning, and looking up at the crystal clear starry sky every night. It was great (and a money saver) being able to cook our own meals every day, including lunches to take to the beach (the house has dishes and things necessary for cooking as well as many of the minor things like condiments -- we brought additional things with us from home, trying to limit our purchases at the grocery store on St. John to perishables perishables – Starfish Market in Cruz Bay or Love City Market really close to the villa). Since we cooked in for most dinners, we had limited experiences with restaurants, but of course, we went to Skinny Legs, just across from Sea Grape Road, as well as the Tourist Trap (a fun place, like a food truck, on the way back from Lameshur Bay. My BFF and her husband had a good experience at Indigo Grill before we got there. We ran out of time and missed out on Caribbean Oasis which was on our list to try). We loved having beach chairs and towels at our disposal for our daily trips to the various local beaches (our tip -- check the schedule for cruise ships in St. Thomas and save going to Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay for days they are NOT in port - it was great!... Maho Bay is another great one... Waterlemon Bay (via hike) is not as beachy and has great snorkeling, but more of a current to be mindful of; Little Lameshur Bay was also nice and a little secret/privately owned beach on the East End - Hansen Bay that charges a small fee to get in). Having a washing machine and dryer at the house helped immensely, allowing us to pack less, clearing room in our suitcases for the non-perishable food we brought on the way down, and souvenirs and rum to bring home! I'm sure there is so much more I could say, but this is a wonderful place to stay! Charlie and Chris are great to work with and very responsive (and I love how they allowed payment through PayPal!). We hope to book again for our 20th anniversary, if not much sooner!!!"

  • "Best Wedding Ever!"

"Our daughter just had (in her words) "the best wedding ever" at Villa Vista Linda. We looked at just about every possible place to have a destination wedding on Vieques and nowhere compared to VVL for charm, privacy, natural beauty, and stunning views. As another reviewer said, the place has WOW factor galore. At the same time, it's not so fussy and fancy that people can't relax and feel at home. It easily accommodated our 85 guests for a ceremony on the lawn, cocktails by the pool, and dinner and dancing in the first floor entertainment area. Ten of us spent a week at the villa before and after the wedding -- swimming in the huge pool, enjoying the breeze on the upstairs balcony, shooting game after game of pool. The villa and its grounds are so big that we could spread out and have private time, too. The bride and groom stayed in the casita where they had their own little love nest. The villa is a short drive from the restaurants and bars in Esperanza as well as Tin Box, Noche, and the Next Course. The "Green Store" market is nearby, too. Karen, the property manager, bent over backwards to make sure that the wedding and our stay in general were just perfect. She was on call 24/7 for troubleshooting and questions. I'm tempted to call her right now and book our next stay!"
