  • Island sanctuary and luxury style

"This house is gorgeous and nestled snugly at the end of Deck Point Road with a western exposure ensuring a beautiful sunset every night which you can enjoy relaxing in the beautiful infinity pool. I can't speak highly enough about the owner and staff here--- they made sure we had what we needed and were available at all hours (which wasn't necessary during our stay but hey...good to know). The villa is stocked with basics and the housekeeper had everything we asked for ready for us upon arrival (thanks, Mary!). We spent much of our time on the outside deck or in the pool and it was breathtaking! Looking over some of the reviews here I feel the need to relay my experiences on some of the topics. We had no problem with the fridge keeping things cold. There were 6 of us (all 18 or older) and went in and out as we normally would with no issues. We kept drinks in ice chests in the kitchen as opposed to the fridge which made it that much easier when we wanted a cold one. The driveway is steeper than most are accustomed to. So? It's not like it is full of Ohio ice. I had no problem walking up and down even with 5 bags of groceries. This is a non factor unless you are truly physically limited. Being from Ohio I prefer generally cool temperatures. The air conditioning units are in all of the bedrooms and would get each room quite chilly (if you want them to be that way) while we slept. Perfect for me. There is no air in the main living space and, I have to admit, that made necessary many refreshing dips in the infinity pool. But listen----you're in the Caribbean! It is hot! I guarantee you the view from the balcony will more than make up for the lack of 70 degree temps in the living room! Gentle breezes and starlit nights beckon. It was a 20 minute walk to Cowpet Bay Beach. Other beaches are easy driving distances. Our big dilemma before we booked was do we want to be on the beach or up higher with beautiful views---take it from me the pictures you take from the balcony of Sans Sou Sea will be forever etched in your mind. This is an amazing villa. We are truly blessed that the owner has opened up his house to guests and would recommend this spot to anyone asking. The memories will last forever and the beauty will never fade. Do yourself a favor and experience island life at Sans Sou Sea!"

  • Perfecto!!

"Excellento! Big Smile. Champ. It seems the most Nevisians have names other than their given name. So to does Butlers House - it is Perfecto! From the moment you drive up to the well-coiffed and manicured property and set foot on its terraced slopes, you will be enchanted. Both inside and out, the loving attention to detail that the owners instilled in the property is palpable. The lemon oil that the cleaning lady rubs on the mahogany furniture and the bougainvillea enliven it with fragrances and the sunshine and beautifully planned lights at night make it sparkle from sun up to sunset. The house is well appointed with quality amenities from linens, towels and kitchenware. It was easy to book and the property manager, Kay, was very helpful procuring a car rental and surely would have been a font of information if needed. I would recommend this authentic and lovingly restored property to anyone. We had 2 people (a couple) our first night and added another (adult child) for two subsequent nights. We comfortably slept 4 but you could sleep 5. We only wish we stayed longer but the place was booked so we only stayed 6 nights."

  • Slice of paradise

"Wonderful week at this comfortable home with a magnificent view of the bay. The beach at the house was steps from the front door (past the pool!) and we ate out under the trees near the beach each day at lunch time. The staff were tremendous in taking care of us. It was certainly hot so having the air conditioning in the bedrooms was very valuable. We did a number of cool trips on the north shore of Jamaica from the cottage. It was helpful to have a car to be able to do that."

  • Beautiful home perfect for large group

"This home is perfect for a family or group. The pool area, decks, outdoor eating area and large amount of patio furniture make the outside living a big part of the stay here. The bedrooms are beautiful and large. The bathrooms are grand. The sliding doors slide all the way into the walls making the rooms, including the great room, feel like the outdoors also. We walked to town and to one of the observatories. The beach is close and virtually private due to the lack of other people. Watch out for the waves-at times they are powerful. Mike was very responsive and helpful with many good suggestions. We hope to come back and stay again."
