  • Great Stay at Pelican Reef

"We just got back from a wonderful week at Pelican Reef. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone going to Bonaire. The house was very well equipped. We didn’t cook while we were there but did make use of the kitchen for cold breakfast and lunch sandwiches. There were coolers available for use which was very handy. There are well-fitting screens on all the windows and doors and a nice breeze blows through the house. We appreciated the gate and the alarm system and had no issues with security on the property. The house was very clean and the appliances were all in good repair. We took advantage of being able to snorkel right in front of the house at Something Special. Water entry was easy and there was plenty to see. The location of Pelican Reef is great. Of course, right on the water. Also, close to dive shops, restaurants, and shopping. Very easy to get around from there."

  • Great for a large family

"My husband and I traveled with our ten month old baby and my mom. We also had my brother come for a couple of days as well. The condo was huge and we all had our own rooms and bathroom. The living area was nice and we loved having a kitchen. The view of Playa Lagun can not be beat! What a gorgeous view from the downstairs outside patio and the upstairs HUGE patio. The pool was right out the back door as well as the outside shower which was great to wash off our snorkel equipment. The condo is in a great location to Bahia Bar and restaurant which we enjoyed for many meals. The staff and food are excellent! Not to mention the unbelievable view!! The stairs leading to the beach were convenient as we snorkeled each morning and evening in the Lagun. We have snorkeled and scuba dived all around the world and we would have to say the snorkeling at Playa Lagun is top five. We saw turtles, octopus, crabs and tons of fish. If you are looking for a nice size place for your family, great snorkeling and a even better view this place is for you!!"

  • Nice Place

"We enjoyed our stay at Vinubu. Like staying at small complexes. The unit was comfortable, and being on the corner of the building gave us nice breezes. There were a couple of days where the wind was calm and it got a little muggy inside. There was an air conditioner in the bedroom/s, and we used it in the master bedroom at night. Loved the grill on the balcony, and the small pool area. Most of the units were rented by couples, but unfortunately the people staying in the condo next door to us had two young toddlers that screamed and yelled a lot. This could happen anywhere, but wish it hadn't happened on our vacation. With the windows open, and sitting on the balcony, it was not always so peaceful. Sunbelt Realty who manages Vinibu were very nice, and checked in on us a couple of times during our stay, including a mid-week cleanup. Liked that the complex was out of the main downtown area."

  • Absolutely Wonderful!

"I honestly cannot say enough about what a fantastic time we had in St. Maarten. We love this villa and will definitely return! My husband and I came here for our annual adult escape and the property was perfect, the location is perfect, you can walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and the local store if you need anything small. We rented a jeep and explored the island every day. The people we met were so friendly too! When we arrived, the villa was clean, the pool was clear and Jill arrived with a welcome gift for us. Gordon was so nice to stop by and walk through everything, and gave us tips on places to go. Jill was excellent with helping us make all of the arrangements, thank you again! Next time we will return with friends! I highly recommend Captain Neil with the Celine Too, any of his trips will not disappoint. We ate all over the island, loved Orient Beach and Great Bay Beach. A few of the places we went to: Buccaneer Beach Bar, Greenhouse, Café Atlantico, St. Maarten Yacht Club, The Sky's the Limit, Skipjacks, Pineapple Petes, Dinghy Dock (drinks), Busby's Beach Bar, Calmos, Sunset Beach Bar, and Taloula Mangos! Definitely try the lobster at Skipjacks, and the Guavaberry Coladas at Sunset Beach Bar and Taloula Mangos. The food was excellent, the service was much slower but that is expected in the islands. Also, the dive master who lives below is extremely quiet, we rarely knew he was around. The cleaning lady was so nice to come in midweek to clean up and the pool man was also very friendly! Take the time to enjoy this amazing island, visit as many beaches as you can! We didn't like Mullet Bay Beach, but that was just us. Found it too quiet, and didn't like sliding down the sand to get to the water, but it was very popular for families. We truly had no major issues, loved running around all day and coming back to this beautiful villa. Stay away from the time share scams, they will just waste your time and believe me nothing is free! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home, we will definitely be back and will recommend this to our friends! I am not sure about staying here with kids (ours would need a hotel with other kids and activities) but the room for the kids is fabulous and the pool is excellent!"
