  • Quiet island, peaceful cottage

"From the well planned arrival, where Jane took care of everything, to the final departure, this trip was peaceful and restful. My wife and I stayed at the Conch Shell Cottage for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Jane met us at the cottage upon arrival and gave us the keys along with some tips. She also brought a book about the history of the island that my wife really enjoyed. Jane arranged a tour of the island, at our convenience, and our tour guide, Marlon, was a treasure. He is proud of his island and knows much of it's history. We were blessed by our time with him. Marlon also rented us our car and made the process so easy, I almost never want to rent in the US again. We also used Jane's recommendation of Dennis Small for an offshore fishing trip. Though the fish weren't biting much, Dennis and his deckhand David, stayed with it and made sure that both of us came home with a fish. What a wonderful experience. We ate that fish most of the week, after grilling it on the barbecue at the cottage. We enjoyed a dinner at TurtleTime our first night of arrival (I would not recommend this drive if it's your first time driving here from America. There are closer spots to eat.) We also had an AMAZING lunch at the Golden Rock Inn. The lobster salad is highly recommended. There is a small resort, Nisbet, down the beach a bit. They have a beach barbecue on Thursday, vendors and live music until 11pm or so. There was not a large crowd and we enjoyed shopping with the local artisans. After shopping, we laid out in the yard of the cottage and stargazed while listening to the live music. Jane really put the cherry on top of this visit by helping coordinate our departure so that I didn't have to worry about it. That was such a relief for us, that it really made a huge difference. This cottage and this island are a wonderful respite from daily life. I hope you get a chance to enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you Jane and Ron for helping us have a wonderful and restful vacation."

  • We're Dragging Ourselves Out

"We've had one of the most relaxing, wonderful vacations of our lives here. The house was perfect for our family---grandparents, parents, and three teens. Daily trips to the beach, exploring sugar mill ruins at Hamilton Estate and New River, a sailing/snorkeling trip with Miles of Nevis Yachts, watching monkeys in the trees, unforgettable dinners at Bananas Bistro and Montpelier--and many others we made right here at home. We spent countless hours on the porch just taking in the spectacular view!! We're wishing we were staying all month...and hope to return someday. This house is a treat---thanks for making it available to others, Sue!"

  • Nevis Vacation

"The Hummingbird house exceeded our expectations. It offered beautiful views, homey decor and all the ammenities one could want. It was a wonderful surprise to have all the items we needed for breakfast provided for us. Saving us from rushing out to a grocery store. A really nice touch. This house will be our choice if we ever return to Nevis."

  • Stunning

"Aquarius is the most beautiful place with views out to St Kitts and was the perfect villa to enjoy this wonderful island. The villa is well set out and the location on Nevis was just right. We had our most successful fishing trip ever with Mahi mahi, tuna, barracuda galore! Sailing at Oualie bay was entertaining and would recommend the Nesbitt plantation as the best place to eat."
