  • Always amazed, tranquil and relaxing

"Having just ended our 5th stay on the island of Nevis and at this amazing property we continue to expand our length of stay, but it will never be long enough. The property is secluded from the slightly less laid back other side of the island and this is what makes Black Sands special and perfect for us. The main home is modern and well supplied with all the necessities that are required to entertain and cook. Both bedrooms have separate bathrooms and AC units for those in need of these mainland amenities. There is also an outside bathroom and an additional outside shower which overlooks the small picturesque extinct volcano about 5 miles from the property. The property manager Adolfo and the rest of the staff have always extended a warm welcome and made sure each stay was memorable. We enjoy spend the mornings at the home, taking in the black sands cove beach, cooling down in the pool and walking around the well maintained gardens. The vehicle is needed if you would like to explore the further reaches of the islands 36-mile circumference. Afternoons are spent on one of the many amazing beaches of Nevis, but watch out for the non-existent crowds as you may be the only ones on the beach. The availability in the choices of restaurants for Lunch and Dinner dinning are many and one needs to make sure and try a variety from the very local Mems Pizza and sit under the very large mango trees to our personal favorites like Banana’s for sunset and Golden Rock which has a great vista of the easterly views from the island along with some great trails. All said we enjoy each stay at Black Sands, relax and refresh ourselves from the winters challenges of the North East and hope to come back another year. Mark"

"The vast space of the property entwined with the layout and the ambience during the day and night will stay with me. Simply superb. Everything in it's place. It was home away from home in cleanliness apart from the the weather. The weather greeted me with it's hot climate and the Crimson House greeted me with it's high end facillities. Having come back a week ago I am holding onto memories of my vacation. Sun, sand sea whilst residing at Crimson House this is a prescription for a happy and memorable stay. I need a repeat prescription! The villa sleeps six people, there were two who stayed here so the space was more than sufficient. All bedrooms were spacious with double beds and the cream of the crop, the master bedroom was given to my sister as she needed the vacation just that little bit more than me as she cares for our mother and had not had a break in 5 years. If I could paint or draw I would have captured the views from the verander using paper and pencil. Alas I can't but every morning and evening I practised my Yoga poses and these are the memories I keep with me. How sublime was it to light candles and enjoy a home cooked supper and meditate. Bliss. The whole ambience was set. It's the type of person you are that will make you come back home to the UK and say you went either on holiday OR come back and say.. my stay at Crimson House was an experience. Thank You and we salute you Mr. James Brown for allowing us to experience a holiday of a lifetime. Sunshines, the bar and restaurant we sought to go to has a drink that if you go you should at least take one glass of.. 'Killer Bee'. Folk law has it that you may not remember events after consumed, which is why as ladies we transferred it into an empty bottle and consumed it back at Crimson House where we would be close to our beds. • Most awesome weekend getaway

"Chez Wilson lives up to its reviews and ratings. I looked for a beautiful island retreat to celebrate my 50th birthday with a few friends and family. I narrowed down the search to lovely Nevis and Chez Wilson stoog out from the crowd. The gardens were awe inspiring and the pool was our central retreat for the entire weekend. To make it even more relaxing were the well appointed bedrooms and kitchen. Nothing was wanted, and that made the relaxation and fun so much more incredible. Amelia Chiverton was an amazing hostess and ensured we felt right at home from the moment we met her. I am definitely returning to Chez Wilson for another get away soon. Greg"
