  • Wonderful Family Vacation in Isabela

"The condo was exactly as Kimberly described and the view from the balcony was great to wake up to each day. The decor was very welcoming and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean and I so appreciate the fact that upon arrival, all the beds were made and clean towels were stacked on each bed. Instructions to access condo keys were very clear as well as to where to find the breaker box. The pool was very clean and the security guards were so nice and it was reassuring to see him walking around the property. Everyone we met was super friendly and having the beach so close was the icing on the cake. Thank you again Kim. We will definitely be back!"

  • Angela's Ocean Villa was terrific!

"Our family of 4 rented Angela's ocean villa for a week the end of March 2016 & it was perfect! Multiple friends rented other villas for their families in the same complex (one was right next door). We all had such a great time, none of us wanted to leave! The layout of the villa was nice--our kids loved having their own space (2 bed/bath unit) connected via adjoining door to the parent space (kitchen/living room/master bedroom/bathroom unit). This was a senior trip for some of our 18-year old kids--who had a great time (some would've liked more people their own age around the area than there was, so it was good that we went with a group of families). The kids were able to have some freedom from parents (coming/going to the Wyndham Resort bar/pool/casino & playing on the beach nearby). It's a safe environment within a gated-community and we often saw the presence of Ocean Villa Security so that worked well for the parents too. The adults went over to the Wyndham Hotel Pool/Bar a couple of times, but honestly preferred the calmer atmosphere of the 2 pools at Ocean Villas (if you bring drinks to the pool, bring cans or cups--NO GLASS). At times we felt like we had the place to ourselves--until it got closer to Holy Week, then the place was at max capacity! As the place got busier, security required everyone to wear green wristbands. Puerto Rico is BEAUTIFUL and there is so much to do and see--Zip-lining; hiking in the nearby El Yunque rainforest; exploring/shopping in Old San Juan; touring the forts in Old San Juan (go early); snorkeling catamaran trips & bio-bay night kayaking. Rest assured that Angela's villa is equipped with everything you need--plenty of bath/beach towels, sheets, beach toys, kitchen essentials, washer/dryer, air conditioning (not all villas there have AC or washer/dryer). We also had underground parking 1 level below the villa with an elevator nearby (nice plus to have the grocery carts there for loading/unloading). I would recommend stopping at Costco on your way to the villa from the airport. One recommendation I would give is for Angela to put some sort of lock-box outside the doors or possibly offer guests 4 keys. We only received 2 keys. Some days we were all going in different directions and it would've been nice to be able to leave a key in a lock-box for any of us to get in/out of the villa. A big thanks to Angela for taking such great care of us and for all the great family memories!"

  • totally relaxing

"the condo was beautiful, 100 inch projection TV, all the amenities. The pool was really nice and most of the time there were hardly any people there so pretty private. There was no iron in the facility and with almost all the attendants speaking Spanish , it took two days to finally get across what I needed. The one big downside is that there really is no beach due to erosion. There is a small area that you could actually put a lounge chair on but the seaweed and rocks are a problem. Not sure why they can't rake the seaweed up daily, it is such a small area. Other than that it was great but you absolutely need a car if you plan to go off the property at any time, otherwise a golf cart is available."

  • Remarkable Christmas 2015

"Very exciting vacation! We were supposed to visit Puerto Rico three years ago, even had deposit sent for this condo..then found out daughter (who was coming with husband) along with my son, my husband and myself was expecting her first child in November and would therefore, not be able to take trip. Three years later, with another child, a son, my daughter and her family, along with my son, husband and myself finalized our vacation plans to Las Palmas. You could not ask for nicer accommodations anywhere. Everything was state of the art down to the induction range top! The layout with three bedrooms and three full baths was perfect, allowing for privacy and "escape" if needed. The property manager Rosanna is a gem! The Miodonka's are extremely lucky to have found her. Our plane was late getting in and she called my office in NY to make sure everything was still scheduled. Not only that, Rosanna made some green bananas and some baccala for us as well as buying milk to have for the little ones and having some breakfast cereal for them along with an avocado. You certainly wouldn't find that touch anywhere else to my knowledge. The weather was perfect. Rain in morning for about 5 minutes and then again at night for same period of time. Always a pretty strong breeze, which was nice because you were never too hot. I would highly recommend this condo..you will not be disappointed."
