  • Very easy and family-friendly

"We had a delightful week at this home, with me and my husband, our 7 and 2 year-old boys, and my father in law. There's been a lot of great stuff written about this property, which is what led us to book it. In particular, the hospitality and helpfulness of the owner can't be over-stated, Loida was amazing with every single little detail to ensure we had a great stay. But I'll focus on the aspects that made this a great fit for our kids: - Playground right out the front door, and other kids around - Fenced property, you can't even get out without a key. This meant we could let our kids have some freedom to play outside - Garden area out the back door to run around - Swimming pool a 3 min walk away - Calm, safe beach just across the street (but with a fence, so no worry of accidents) with shade - Very friendly neighbors with kids - Spotlessly clean - Pack and plays, and beach toys provided The only thing that was a slight challenge for us was the location - if you want to spend time on the east coast (cruise from Fajardo, etc.), you're looking at a 60-90 minute drive, which we just weren't up for. But the children's museum in Carolina was amazing, and also loved taking the ferry to Old San Juan. And there were days we were perfectly happy just hanging out at the pool and beach. Overall, great value, perfect fit for us with kids. We also really liked that we seemed to be the only tourists, and everyone around us spoke primarily Spanish (easy to communicate though). That was the experience we wanted. :-) You're welcome to contact me with questions."

  • Small but comfortable

"Emmanuele and her mother were very helpful. The unit is small but very convenient to many restaurants, the beach and buses to get to San Juan Viejo. Even though it is on the 11th floor, the street noise--especially early in the morning--was much louder than we expected. The Security guards were all very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in San Juan. We rented a car at the Marriott down the street for one day to drive to the rain forest. The rest of the time we used the bus. It was a great stay and nice to get out of the cold January weather at home."

  • Overall great Villa can't wait to return

"One of the best equipped villas we have rented. An incredible amount of detail was paid. My children (age 17, 12 & 2) had a blast. Everything you needed was in the home. We loved how clean and peaceful the gated community is and close to restaurants and best of all Starbucks. Dorado Lakeside villas is very private and allows one to really relax and enjoy beautiful PR. Next door to Hyatt on the beach we bought Piña coladas everyday and could even have lunch there , great Scv and most of all so welcoming . I would definitely like to revisit."

  • Great villa at the beach!!! Will be coming back!

"Excelent villa right at my favorite beach in Rincon. Near restaurants and night scene, but quiet enough to relax. House was very clean, and equipped with everything we needed and more. The 4 th floor terrace is spectacular with amazing sunrise/sunset views. Went with friends to celebrate graduation. Will return soon with my kid."
