  • Incredible property and amazing experience

"Alma and her team were such wonderful hosts. They made us feel at home in our beautiful Villa and provided additional touches that made such a difference, such as stocking the kitchen with our favorite food and coordinating fun activities. They were available as needed and their local knowledge helped to ensure our vacation wishes were met. I highly recommend the property and service. You will not be disappointed."

  • Amazing beach, house was ok

"Our family of four stayed here with our best friends and their four kids. We had planned to share the bedrooms equally, two per family. A MAJOR disappointment was that the fourth bedroom is actually over the garage and connected only by a second floor catwalk. Two reasons this was not good: One, all six kids were under the age of 7 and we didn't want any of them having to traverse the catwalk. Second, we didn't feel that the area was the safest, and frankly, we didn't want to stick one parent and kid out there alone. Yes, the community is gated, but it's probably not what you are picturing. Yes, there is a gate. EVERY community and house for that matter has a gate / fence. This one has a non-English speaking attendant, and on the "safe" side we very dilapidated homes on the road perpendicular to the ocean road. When you hit the ocean, it of course, gets nicer. Plenty of stray dogs and cats abound on your drive to the property. The home itself is beautiful and we found the swimming pool and beach access to be our favorite part of the vacation. Kids were in the pool from sun up to sun down. The beach was wonderful for our young kids as the house is actually nestled in a small cove and the waves were nil. However, just at the break, very close to the house, were the most amazing crashing waves and surfers I have ever seen that close. We ventured down to the Ritz for dinner one night (make a reservation) and literally saw the most spectacular sunset of our lives. Another important factor in not feeling that safe in the bedroom above the garage was that the home is directly next to the public access alley which has two tall cement walls, one of which can be climbed and if stood on, someone could actually reach the window of the bedroom. Unfortunately, the window didn't even have a lock and the property manager said it needed to be ordered and would take several weeks to get. Also, the house is not exactly "near downtown Dorado". It's a good 10 minute drive to town. And my final complaint is that there was a stench that I cannot describe coming from under the kitchen sink. Actually hard to do dishes. The property manager came and "cleaned" it and put an air freshener under the sink. On the plus side, we pumped the music on the outdoor patio and literally had a ball, singing, swimming, and relaxing. Final word of advice, Puerto is VERY hit or miss in terms of neighborhood so make sure you do your homework!"

  • Villa de Paz is Villa de Wonderful

"If your looking to get away from city life and relax in a quiet beach setting, then this Villa is just what you want! Waking up and sitting on one of two balconies (upper or lower) overlooking the ocean is amazing. This place has everything you need plus extras. The décor is light and airy and calling your name. A home away from home that had my wife and I fully relaxed from the moment we walked through the door. The kitchen has everything you need for a home cooked meal and a grill out on the balcony. The bedrooms are fully equipped as well. Just get there and then go to the beach for a swim in that warm water. Then, explore the wonders of Puerto Rico!"
