  • Everything we could have asked for

"Stayed in the villa for 10 days for a extended family vacation. 7 adults and 5 kids. Adults from 33-75 in age and kids from 2-13. House was great very well laid out for large groups. Lots of little hang out spaces and some big ones as well. Great pool and hot tube. The beach club was perfect for the kids. Restaurants were awesome!! Make sure to check out several. The staff for the rental was great, super helpful. We set up multiple catered dinners and transport through them. There is something for everyone here. The charter fishing/day trips out of the marina with Capt. Matt was a blast, little rough, but we still landed a Black Marlin out of season. Worth the beating and they fished hard. Could have stayed another 10 days and likely will again."

  • The perfect family vacation home!

"We rented this gorgeous home for a family vacation for the holidays for ourselves, our three daughters and their husbands, and two grandchildren. Leading up to our trip, Lori was fabulous, giving us information about everything going on during our stay on the island, and responding quickly to every question we had. I asked if there was a crock-pot in the kitchen and there wasn't, but she bought one and had it waiting for us on our arrival. When we arrived, we found a beautiful, very clean home, so tastefully decorated and warm and welcoming, and even decorated for Christmas complete with a tree! The home is large and so well thought-out, and the pictures, though beautiful, do not do it justice. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything you need (even for a big group like ours who was cooking a lot). There are abundant towels, linens, beach towels, even toys and games. Each bedroom has it's own bath (along with a fifth bath out by the pool), so each person/couple has their own private space. The common areas are large and perfect for gathering everyone together. The star-gazing from the rooftop terrace was breath-taking at night, and the views to the Caribbean during the day are gorgeous. And then there was our favorite part: the outdoor area around the pool: There you will find a complete kitchen, large refrigerator (which we used for our beverages), plenty of seating for both lounging and for meals, a huge hammock, all beside that beautiful pool. We never wanted to leave that area! Truly, we could have just stayed right there all week and never moved. But of course, you are in Palmas Del Mar, PR, so there is so much to see and do, and the location of this home is the perfect home base. It's just a couple of minutes' walk to a beautiful beach, a golf-cart ride to all that Palmas offers, and a short drive to the rainforest, to the mountains, to many other beautiful beaches, and of course, to Old San Juan. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Lori was always a text away, very prompt in her responses. She was always so gracious and helpful and truly did everything to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. It was unanimous in our group: the absolute perfect home in the absolute perfect location. I hope we can all come back one day, and we wouldn't consider another house. We have done many rental homes and this was our best experience by far. You will not be disappointed if you choose this home!"

  • Palmas Del Mar = Great!

"Our group had a great time at Villa Familia in Palmas Del Mar, Puerto Rico. We found the house large and comfortable and spent many hours enjoying the private pool in the backyard. Palmas del Mar is a magical place. We walked miles through beautiful communities and amazing landscaping. We went to the long and beautiful beach, visited the pterocarpus forest enjoying it’s boardwalk tour of nature, had dinner at great restaurants all without leaving the resort. But that was just the beginning of our great vacation. Villa Familia is wonderfully situated to get a fast start to many other locations. We enjoyed the art at the San Juan Museum of art (very contemporary and most exciting); roamed about Old San Juan. Toured the Serralles Castle in Ponce. Swam in Rincon. Kayaked in the Humacao Nature Preserve. Visited the Camuy Caves and the Radio Telescope project on the same day. And had a very special eco tour of the Las Cabazas de San Juan Nature Preserve in Fajardo. As women traveling alone throughout PR, we were most impressed with the positive welcome we received everywhere and how comfortably we felt moving around on our own. I can’t wait to return to PR. I would definitely stay at Villa Familia a second time. It’s a great place to see PR from!"
