  • We loved our stay at the condo in Palmanova Village!

"Condo was clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We traveled to beaches in the area and Fajardo as the beach near the property did not have a swimming area (which may have been due to the strong winds and currents at the time of our stay. Overall, we had a great experience in Puerto Rico!"

  • Perfect Spot, Loved it!

"My family and friends have been coming to Palmas del Mar since the 80’s – We’ve rented villas all over Palmas, this was our first stay at Crescent Cove. #34 was perfect, well maintained and stocked with everything we needed. This trip was 3 adult women; very nice each having our own bedroom with ensuite. The complex itself is safe, impeccably groomed, private pool area and best of all steps from our favorite beach in the Caribbean, the reason we’ve been coming back all these years. Another plus staying at Crescent Cove is “Beach Chairs” a very hot commodity in Palmas since very few villas include them. The only reason we rented golf carts in the past was to lug around rented beach chairs. The biggest plus at #34 is Jose, the owner, who was involved with our stay from the beginning. He provides his” FAQ sheet” which included everything from directions to recommendations and tips on how to get around. He called us when we arrived to make sure we were settled. We took day trips to the Rainforest, Caves (fantastic) and Arecibo Observation Tower. We also saw the Patriots win the Super Bowl at a party in Tennis Village. (Had to get that in) Muchas gracias Jose, see you next year."

  • Nice accomodations, Beautiful view

"Overall my family and I liked our accommodations. We stayed for 6 nights. We could have lived on the balcony. Spacious with gorgeous view of the ocean! Everything was clean upon entry and we had good communications with our owner. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils. The two bedrooms were well appointed and the beds as reported by my daughter and wife were very comfortable. The second bedroom did not cool down as well as the rest of the condo with the a/c which was more than adequate. They condo itself has its own pool complex which was very nice and relaxing. It was not crowded at all. Through our owner, we hired a local chef for a dinner that was just what we wanted - local food with great flavor. We dined on the afore mentioned balcony and enjoyed every minute. This was our first time with VRBO and the tips and information were helpful. I will say that Puerto Rico has great people and friendly at every turn. From this location as a base, we were able to easily get to Old San Jaun, Fajardo, Luquillo Beach and other great locations. What I learned was that not every place is the same and while many owners of this complex participate with VRBO, they don't all offer the same amenities, so do your homework. We traveled with four families on this trip. Each had a condo at the Marbella Club, but the experience for each was a bit different as can be expected. Some owners sent detailed packages of activities and instructions, while others simply sent a basic email. Also, three of the four owners belonged to the nearby Beach Club, so they had access to other pools and activities. Again, not a deal breaker, but ask before you commit. We did have a plumbing issue at our place and I must say that the owner acted immediately to fix it upon notification. The beach area is non-existent right in front of the complex due to erosion. About a quarter mile away there is a strip of a beach where my daughter and friends spent considerable time, but you will have to travel to find a proper beach. Also, the complex (Playa del Mar) which has many condo associations (like the Marbella Club), clubs, etc. is very large. It is advisable to rent a golf cart to explore the area, restaurants, etc. especially if you have teens that are always on the move. They have multi-day rental options, that were perfect for my 18 year old and her friends. In summery, nice clean, safe, place, wonderful balcony, nice pool area, wonderful view, that is almost perfect."
