  • Perfect condo for a couple in Luquillo/ Playa Azul Bldng 1

"Secure, perfectly located, professional staff, intelligent arrangement/appointment. Clean, comfy, and convenient! It really is more beautiful than the pictures make it out to be. My only regret is that we didn't stay here longer during our visit. The owners were patient with me even though I had some difficulties on my end and held up the booking process. They could have easily written me off as being a flake, but instead worked with me on a second attempt to secure the booking. (Thank you Karla/Rene!) One thing to note, they respond better to text messages, so keep that in mind when communicating with them. Luquillo is very cool. Walk, bike or drive to explore the non-touristy area to the immediate East of the condo, and *respect the locals* on their beaches and in their 'hood!! Also please support the LOCAL owned businesses!!! Gracias Luquillo! Y Gracias pa todo Rene/Karla! Su apartamento fue un paraíso y no podemos esperar hasta el proximo visite! Sinceramente RG"

  • A Dream Vacation Home

"From the time we arrived at Casa Palma Azul to the time we departed, we had a great family vacation. Casa Palma Azul lived up to its name as the most luxurious home in Rincon. It was truly spacious and everyone had his or her own space when they needed some quiet time. I did not want my son, Chef Mo, from Norfolk, VA to prepare meals but the gourmet kitchen was equipped with EVERYTHING! SO needless to say, all of the breakfasts each morning were prepared and served outside on the 2nd floor veranda dining table. The fresh mangos that were picked from the neighbor's yard across the street were unlike any we tasted back on the mainland. Super fresh!!! We only had 3 dinners at Casa Palma Azul but easily could have had all the meals there, except, I insisted that we go out to the local restaurants to enjoy the surroundings. The activities were great: my family went deep-sea fiving, snorkeling, sunset cruise, golfing, cliff driving in San Sebastian and a one day trip to visit Old San Juan. We dis as much as we could in 7 days. We really needed another 3-4 days to round out our trip but, nonetheless, it was good. The pool area was gorgeous and the grounds were immaculately manicured. Mr. and Mrs. Brown, you must truly be delighted with your home as we were thoroughly thankful that you opened it up for rental and my family said it was a vacation they will always remember. My son from Houston wants to start looking at next year. Although we lost power 4 days in a row, due to storms, we never once was inconvenient as your generator(s) kicked in almost immediately. We want to thank Allison for all of her help prior to our arrival and sorry we did not get a chance to meet her. However, Annette stepped in and she was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I think I made a friend for life with her. She was truly an asset and helped direct us in getting around in Puerto Rico. We treated your home as though it was ours and made sure everything was left in a satisfactory condition. Rose Mary Mitchell, Gene Sebron and Family Greenbelt, MD"

  • BEST GROUP VACATION RENTAL OUT THERE

"This is the PERFECT group vacation rental! Just returned from a dance performance tour in the San Juan area with my team of 21 college students and another professor. House fit all 23 of us comfortably, we just brought one inflatable air mattress. No hotel can beat this price for a large group! Here's everything else we loved: The outdoor showers were great for after the beach, where we spent all of our free time because it's literally just 20 steps away down a little sidewalk path. We were able to fit four minivans parked on an angle right in front of the house. There is also street parking available on the block. We never had any concerns about safety on the street. It's a very nice area, and there are security cameras and a floodlight along the pathway to the beach. We were a 10-20 minute drive from everywhere we needed to be, and within walking distance from tons of restaurants, a 24-hour grocery store, and a laundromat. Old San Juan, with its shopping and beautiful historic sites, is less than 20 minutes away. It's close to the airport and all major highways that will take you anywhere else you need to go on the island. Open the windows at night to enjoy the ocean breeze and sounds of crickets and coqui frogs! All four kitchens were equipped with everything we needed. There were even some beach towels left for us to use. If you have a large group, bring additional paper towels and toilet paper, but other than that you will be set! All 23 of us will recommend this place to family and friends traveling to Puerto Rico. THANKS FOR A GREAT STAY!"

  • Incredible stay with our 5 children!

"We were so excited for our first trip to PR and boy, am I glad we decided to stay at Dennis' beautiful villa! The villa itself is everything you would imagine it to be - clean, spacious with a beautiful and peaceful view from the balcony. Dennis was as everyone has said -- gracious, helpful and attentive. We have 5 children, so we needed advice about grocery stores, places to eat etc. and Dennis always replied immediately. The beds were incredibly comfortable (I LOVED the linens), which was great as I suffer with an achy back. Both the master and one of the other bedrooms also has a TV, which the kids appreciated after a long day at the beach or rainforest. The VIP passes were wonderful and we spent a lot of time at the hotel amenities. Be warned though, the security there is very tight, so be sure to bring your passes, a picture ID and Dennis' phone number just in case. After you get to the hotel, you'll need to go to the towel hut where they will give you a bracelet for the week. Piece of cake once you have it! The hotel has 4 pools and 3 massive hot tubs (the kids loved those, too!) Also, don't miss the rainforest and check out Carabali Rainforest tours if you can! The horseback riding was amazing! Also, be sure to access the villa at least a few times from the main gate as the views are breathtaking! If you have a car, check out Mi Vida cafe just across route 3 in Palmer (5 mins away) It's delicious and affordable! SO if you're considering a villa in Rio Mar, look no further! It's close to everything and still in a beautiful relaxed and quiet spot. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Thank you, Dennis!"
