  • Perfect location!!

"My best friend was coming to visit me here in PR from England and since it was her first time in PR I wanted to take her to the most beautiful part of the island, Rincon. I was looking for something different than a hotel and this house was perfect! It is beautiful and away from all the crowds and noise but still close enough to everything that within 10 minutes we could be at any of the main beaches or the town center. The house was lovely! Very clean and the view from the balcony is spectacular. Really loved it. The landlord was a delight and everything was very smooth. I am hoping to go back every time I have a visitor while I'm living in PR which is fairly often. Absolutely loved the stay. The only thing I could say is a couple of the evenings were a bit too warm so next time I might bring a back up fan. When the wind is blowing nothing is needed though. Would recommend this location to everyone!!"

  • I could get used to living on the beach...

"We ended our week in Puerto Rico at the Sandy Beach Villa. It was our 4th hotel during the week and we stayed 4 nights. We rented the 1st floor with our 4 young adult kids ages 19, 21, 23 and 25. Staying at the Sandy Beach Villa was so relaxing. WE could cook in, instead of having to find restaurants for every meal like the first part of the trip (gets expensive when you are feeding 6). Eating on the 4th floor rooftop deck was amazing and lounging on the first floor chaise lounges was relaxing. In other words the outdoor spaces were A+! Also, being right on the beach you could dip in and out of the perfect temperature water. The kids took a surfing lesson from the guys in the lot next door which was reasonably priced at $40 per person including all day board rental. We drove to Steps Beach and used the 2 snorkels from the house and rented 2 more there. There were always waves on Sandy Beach so calmer waters would have been a little nicer for me personally. The rest of the family didn't mind. The house also has a couple of boogie boards to use. Back to the house: the living room was comfortable and the beds were as well. A/C and fans worked GREAT. WiFi not so good but you could catch it in part of the living room and 1 bedroom. T-Mobile didn't work in the house but did on the patio and street. I really liked the neighborhood mix of a shop across the street and Tamboo 3 doors down. There were some other cute places to stay nearby. The area felt totally safe. Our family was on high alert for mosquitos and the Zika virus and this house had screens on all of the windows - very reassuring. Erica was the manager on duty and I feel that she was very accessible. We had a great stay at the Sandy Beach Villa and wish we could have stayed longer! Hawaii and Cabo San Lucas are typically the go-to places for Californians and I am now a Puerto Rico fan where I can stay RIGHT ON THE BEACH for a reasonable price."

  • Absolutely Perfect!

"This House was perfect for our "Couples Getaway". This place is like a resort! Plenty of room for everyone in this tremendous home with breathtaking views of the ocean and Rincon's green mountain landscape. Our group was mixed with experienced surfers and beginners. We found that our favorite beaches for surfing and lounging were Domes, Dogman's (right out front of the home), sandy's, pools and steps beach (a snorkel heaven that's a 2 min walk from the house!). We were here in Early September, right at the beginning of the off season, so the entire area was quite peaceful and not full of tourists, which we enjoyed. In case you are wondering, mosquitoes were NOT a problem what so ever. I highly recommend for anyone and look forward to coming back regularly. -Very Clean and maintained perfectly -Had everything we needed to cook daily -Customer service was perfect. Anything we needed was a text or phone call away -Pool was awesome and hard to get out of (we spent most of our time in or around the pool) -Catch the Art Walk on Thursdays in Rincon's town square. Very Cool. So many awesome things about this house and the Rincon area, definitely one of my favorite vacation destinations."

  • Warmest, most relaxing hospitality ever

"Coming from NYC, desperately in need of stress relief, R House couldn't have been a better sanctuary. This was my first trip to Rincon, my first time in a Marine Reserve. Waking up on my first morning in such a fresh, clean and comfortable environment to the sound of the water not 60 feet away, I quickly lost all track of time: which was exactly what I wanted. The proprietors were so easy and helpful, charming and generous. Snorkeling every morning in the coral gardens, eating simply and well, and within walking distance of a great town. This is my new go to."
