  • Perfect Choice!

"This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and this condo in Stella Marris was perfect for us. We were attending a wedding and the reception was at the Marriott which is right next door. The location was very central to all of the activities we were attending. Just a quick taxi ride (or bus ride) to Old San Juan. The condo is right on the beach. The view is beautiful and it was so relaxing at the end of the busy days, just sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean waves come in. There is every kind of restaurant you could want within walking distance (not to mention great coffee and ice cream when the mood struck). The unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay at the beach. It is very clean, secure and nicely decorated. Eric was so prompt when answering my questions and was right on top of the entire reservation. He even found us a parking space (we rented a car last minute) saving us money. We did the Sea Trek one of our free days (from the Hilton Hotel) and that was great fun. Like walking around in an aquarium. We will definitely return to Puerto Rico (still much of the island to see) and we will definitely stay in 7C again!"

  • Exactly what I was expecting. Very nice

"My family and I loved this place. It was beautifully kept, modern, and clean. Will certainly recommend it to my family and friends. I am giving it 4 stars for two minor reasons. First reason has to do with gaining access. I followed all the rules, sent in my itinerary, called Anthony a few days prior to my arrival, and called again upon my arrival. Somehow, getting access was still a challenge, Anthony was not responsive when I first called 3 days prior to my arrival. I called again 1 day prior and he calculated my arrival time to the apartment, and agreed he would meet me there, Once I arrived, Anthony sent me a message advising that he was stuck in traffic, but that the keys were left in the unit, with the door open. He neglected to mention to me that there was a door to the building that I would need to gain access to. I had to go to security, and convince them that I was not a thief, and that I left the keys inside the unit. They eventually called Anthony and got permission to let me in. That was a very unpleasant experience. I will say that security is very tight, and cautious with whom they give access to. My other concern is similarly minor, but important to me, and I assume others. The unit has a lovely balcony overseeing the bay, which is nicely furnished for a nice evening sipping cognac and smoking a cigar. Unfortunately, smoking is not permitted on the balcony. I completely understand not smoking in the apartment as the smell stays in it, however, why not the balcony? I enjoy having my coffee and cigarette in the morning, but I had to walk out of the building, to the parking lot to smoke and have my coffee. That kind of took away from the overall experience. Again, I am not unreasonable, and completely understand not wanting smokers in the apartment. It is my opinion that balconies are designed for the sole purpose of enjoying a coffee and cigarette without compromising the inside of the apartment. Before renting this unit, I read a tremendous amount of reviews and settled on this unit based on the positive feedback. I was not disappointed, and the reviews were pretty much accurate. My review is as honest as I can get, and if you are not a smoker, I am hard pressed to come up with anything you would not like. The place is absolutely fabulous. Regarding Anthony; most reviews raved about him, and his role in this process. I somehow missed that, or maybe I just went on a week he was not really available."

  • Perfect location!

"We had a wonderful stay here for spring break! My husband and I decided that we would rent a house this vacation rather than be stuck in a hotel with our two boys aged 8 and 5. We were nervous with this being our first time vacationing this way but Saul and Myrna were extremely helpful and accommodating. The place was spotless and exactly as shown in the photographs. Unfortunately our phone would not work for our GPS so we continually texted Saul for directions. He always responded within minutes and was very patient. He also was able to give us contact information for a very well know surf instructor who gave lessons to my husband and oldest son. When I called Myrna to ask about getting medicine for my sick son she recommended multiple local places to go. The description of being closest to the beach and boardwalk are very accurate. We walked across the street every night for dinner where there are multiple food stands. Then, we took it back to the condo and went up to the rooftop terrace to watch the sunset over the ocean. The beaches shown in the pictures are very clean and pretty. However, a short drive of less than 10 minutes lands you at Crash Boat Beach which is gorgeous!!!! My kids are already talking about the next time we stay at this place!"

  • Just as wonderful second time around!

"This is the second time we have enjoyed a week in paradise @ this location. The condo is fantastic, and Jorge has it stocked with everything you need to make your stay fabulous! He contacted us multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly for us, and that we had no questions or issues. We enjoyed several breakfasts, lunches and dinners on the patio, watching the ocean and beautiful beach scenes. Parking is great. The pool and lounge are are right next to the condo--and you can see it all from the patio, which is very convenient when signaling to your spouse to bring you a refill of an ice cold beverage from the fridge so that you don't have to move from your comfy lounge chair in the sun :) We loved the fact that there are not a lot of tourists around--and you may only see a few local fishermen on a long walk on the beautiful beach. I've been to dozens of beaches around the world--and this is my favorite. The sand is AWESOME! We took day trips to the rain forest, waterfall, zip-lining, and night-kayaking into the BioBay. We spent a day in San Juan, and traveled down to Ponce, too. We had a great time, AGAIN, and will return many more times! Thanks, Jorge, for everything. You are a superb host!"
