  • Great vacation rental!

"Our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. Heriberto was available for any inquiries we had and his staff was really helpful. The rental was close to beaches and to the airport. Thank you Heriberto for the excellent service!"

  • La Isla de Mi Corazon!!!!

"My son and I (age 25) have been wanting to go back to the land of both of our Fathers for years. I saved and saved and finally the time had come. Prior to booking at the ESJ Towers I had booked another place that somehow never received my deposit. Yay for Me!!!! Isla Verde is the place to be for a visit to PR. Positive: *Centrally located *Great food within a short distance from location *Amazing beaches *Great price *Clean, secure, and for the most part quiet *Having a kitchen allowed for reheating of food *The resort next door has great live music, gambling & sports bar Negatives: *I DIDNT WANT TO GO HOME (I literally cried when I left)...... Recommendations: *If you have a collapsable thermos (or buy a styrofoam one at the store) bring it. It makes it easier to bring stuff to drink while on the beach. There is only one vendor that sells coconut water, soda and bottled water with some light food. No alcohol sold on the beach unless you walk further down to the bar and I think for a mixed fufu drink my son paid $9 per drink - Ouch! *If you are going to rent a car go less than a block away (to your left of the towers) to Quality. They had a special for $19.99 per day unlimited for a nice Toyota. *BEFORE you go to the beach, stop by the gym and make arrangements for a beach chair rental. I believe they are $2 per use versus $4 on the beach. *Food - sooooo many places to choose from BUT the one place that we went to ALL the time was Mi Casita (it is located in the little strip mall next to the 24/7 store/Burger King (?). Our favorite meals were El Navidad (Christmas) favorites of pernil (pork), pasteles, arroz con gandules - reminded me of my childhood. The Paella was pretty good and the mofongo was awesome!!!! *Go to 24/7 store for goodies (we bought a case of water, rum, coke, juice, and snacks) - they also have a really good restaurant there and wine on tap *Take the bus (and bring some patience). The bus is .75 BUT it is on Caribbean time - supposed to be every 35 minutes but not a set schedule so you could be waiting for an hour. - And bring change - bus drivers won't make it for you. *Be adventurous. If you get a chance for some beach fried good PR food - go to Pinones. I was craving bacalaitos and all the locals said go there. *If you are going next door to dance, bring something to wear. *And, finally when in Old San Juan, across from El Convento try El Batey - dive bar."

  • Nice Family Vacation

"This house was almost perfect for our stay at Rincon. We've been to other areas of Puerto Rico but so far this is our favorite. Allison was great and answered every question I had. The description of the house was exactly the way we found it and the fact that you have the beach as your backyard made it truly amazing. Those who travel to Rincon must be prepared to pay higher than normal prices for food, drinks, etc...since this is a tourist town, but it's totally worth it. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that it gets very hot in the summer months and rains almost every afternoon. With no a/c in the common areas it can get really hot, breezes tend to die down when it's raining. Also, there are no TV's in the bedrooms. We were traveling with 3 children, ages 8, 13 and 16.....having only one TV in the living room area made it very difficult especially on those rainy afternoons. The sunset views were magnificent and listening to the waves at night was great. If you don't mind a little heat and have no need for TV in the rooms, then this house is totally perfect. I would recommend this house without a will not regret it. Can't wait to get back next summer."

  • Paradise at the Penthouse

"What makes our penthouse condo rental paradise isn't merely the ocean view, the beach half a block away, one of the best restaurants in San Juan--Oceano--down the street, the cocktail parties with our neighbors Barbara and Edward and others, or the spacious accommodations with two-bedrooms/three televisions/three air conditioners/and two baths. The true gem of this property is the owner, Ita Santiago. When you come here you are not staying at an impersonal rental. You become part of Ita's family. Her professionalism in administering the property is evenly matched by her generosity, warmth and caring. We felt we were staying at a family member's house! What makes this rental perfect is that you are within walking distance of many of the best restaurants in the Condado. There are 24-hour drug stores across the street, a 24-hour supermarket not far away, and even a Fresh Market with organic products. You can also attend the food and music festivals a few blocks down at the Ventana del Mar plaza. This is our second visit and we have already reserved for an even longer stay (7 weeks) next year. Viva Ita and her corner of paradise!"
