  • Perfect place in paradise!

"I'm first going to talk about the owner because I feel like that's important. Rolando is amazing. Before the trip his response time was within 24 hours if we had questions, during the trip it was within minutes, we'd text him and hear right back. He gave us detailed directions on getting to his place and check in. It couldn't have gone smoother! He went above and beyond to accommodate us and for that reason alone we'll be back! This until is amazing!! It's just as pictured but better. You can see the pool from the windows and terrace, the beach is a 2 minute walk, as far as location goes this unit, and others by it, was the best. There are other pools throughout the complex but the one right out front is the best and so is the huge hot tub. Parking is right out front. The unit comes equipped with everything you need. Towels, bedding, beach toys and chairs, every kitchen utinsle imaginable, washer/dryer, bbq on the terrace, patio furniture, TV's with cable, wifi... You name it, Ronaldo has it! The security in the complex is top notch. Locked gates, wristbands required to get in and security always walking the grounds. The grounds are very well maintained and are cleaned every morning. The water slide is open weekends and so much fun. There are 2 huge gazebos right by the beach where people often gathered. This was our second time staying in Loiza and have loved every second of both stays. Aquatikas location is perfect. 45 minutes from great snorkeling on the Spreadeagle ll in Fajardo, 20 minutes from El Younque and great restraunts like El Verde BBQ and La Familia Bakery ll and 30 minutes from Old San Juan and great food at Mallorca Cafe. I'm giving these places shoutouts because some people we met who frequent Aquatika recommended them and they were delicious and very affordable. The drive from Loiza to San Juan on PR 187 is breath taking and offers a lot of beautiful beaches and great food huts. I could go on and on about how great Loiza and Rolandos place are! You won't regret staying here, I promise! We zip lined El Toro Verde which is about 2 hours from Loiza, also a great experience! We can't wait to back and will definitely stay in this until again:)"

  • Unforgettable stay in Aguada!

"My family spent 8 nights in the first level condo of Santa Mar earlier this month...it was one of our favorite trips to Puerto Rico! I'll start by saying that the pictures and description of the property are spot-on accurate. It's a beautiful, modern, and clean home in a quiet and safe neighborhood tucked next to the ocean. Traveling with three children, I was pleased to find that what you see is what you get! The kids were thrilled with the bunk bed room, which has both a comfy full-size bed and a twin bed. The closets in both room are so spacious that we were able to easily organize our clothes and belongings for a stress-free stay. Also, we were amazed to find out that there were unexpected bonus amenities: fully stocked laundry room was my saving grace for our first trip with our one-year old....master bedroom closet has a beach bag full of sand toys, which literally made my kids dance for joy upon discovery...the small Igloo cooler was perfect for us, as we made ice cubes in the freezer and stocked the cooler for trips to Crashboat Beach, Gozalandia Falls, and Playa Sucia...we found Dominos in the living room which my kids played endlessly on a rainy afternoon (you can't have an authentic Puerto Rico vacation unless you play Dominos!)....this mommy found the fully stocked kitchen to be so convenient for preparing meals and snacks and enjoying delicious glasses of wine and Puerto Rican sangria(Passion fruit/Parcha is incredible--you can find at the local liquor store)! Beyond the amenities, we also enjoyed the proximity to the nearby beach, which was serene and mostly private (except for a few fishermen) during our stay. Although there was some debris toward the east as another reviewer mentioned (broken trees and palm leaves), this did not deter us from enjoying early morning walks and picturesque evening sunsets. The house is just down the road from numerous restaurants and bars--we frequented Panaderia Gabriel for breakfast to-go, which we brought back to the house and enjoyed on the beautiful outdoor table (yummy pancakes and pastries!). For dinner and drinks, we frequented El Galeon---we loved the open-air seating right next to the hush of the waves and we also were able to order food to-go on days that we wanted to lounge at the house. We fell asleep every night listening to the intoxicating whispers of the coqui frogs outside of this incredible property! Thank you for a memorable stay at your lovely home--we will be back!"

  • Perfect Apartment in the Perfect Location

"The apartment is beautiful and looks exactly the same as in the photos. The art is very cool and the apartment is very clean. There was plenty of room for my husband and I and our 16 and 11 year old daughters. The air conditioning and the ceiling fans kept the temperature very comfortable. One of the best features about this apartment is the location. It's right in the middle of everything in Old San Juan. Very enjoyable stay and we would definitely considering staying here again on our next trip to Puerto Rico!!"
