  • Playa Azul Penthouse Apt

"Very comfortable accommodations. Sleeps 6. BR-1 has a queen bed. BR-2 has two bunk beds. All you need for a fabulous vacation, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling gear all provided. Condo is very comfortable. There is even a cooler to use for the beach. Stunning views of the beach. Close by to many activities. Lots of local places to eat, things to see. My family loved our time here. I would rent it again in a heartbeat."

  • Balcony overlooking beach & great location & clean

"My boyfriend and I fell in love with the condo the minute we stepped in. The balcony has a spectacular view of the beach and a beautiful sea breeze. The kitchen is a great size. There is no picture of the bathroom on the profile - but it's in perfect condition. The condo building is on the beach. The building has a nice patio area with tables and showers with a gate before you can access the beach. The high tide at night can bring the waves up to the beach access gate. On the right you can walk to the Ritz. The beach is just so beautiful. The location is the best. Isla Verde is a lot of fun. Not as trendy as Condado. Walgreens is a couple blocks away. You can decide to go out at night or stay in and listen to the waves crash on your balcony. I have told so many friends already about this fantastic condo. I look forward to coming back."

  • Spacious apartment and great location

"My wife, infant child, mother, aunt and I stayed here for just under a week. We were looking for a place within walking distance of a calm beach, close enough to the highway and within an hour of the airport. We were not disappointed. The beach is about 100 yards from the condo. There were waves, but the waves were not rough. And if we wanted no waves, we only had to walk about 1/4 mile on the beach and arrive in much calmer water. With an 11 month old, it was perfect. The water was shallow, clear and calm. I did not want to stay in a high rise condo building, which Luquillo does have if that is your flavor. There is something to be said of being able to walk outside of your door , and not having to walk down a hallway, take an elevator down, and walk across a lobby just to get outside...Alana and her family were so accommodating and helpful to our needs, which was not much, but it was nice to know that she was very responsive when a few minor things came up. While it does not impact my five star rating of my experience, if there is anything negative to write about the property, it would be that there was the occasional vehicle that would drive by in the middle of the night with its music blasting. Then again, I was in PR during a Holiday weekend - El Dia de San Juan...Thank you Alana and have a wonderful summer!"

  • Tropical breeze heaven!

"The owner of the property is very attentive! He took care of everything we needed and explained what we needed to know about Palmas. He knew of some great excursion ideas and had good food recommendations. The villa is well-appointed and close to the beach. The nearby pool is also convenient and well cared for. The villa is close to the big hotel and casino, and located right on the golf course. We could open the patio doors to one of the holes, which overlooks the beach and lets in the wonderful Caribbean breezes. The villa's kitchen is really great if you don't want to blow your budget on eating out for every meal! All the appliances you'll need are available and work efficiently. It was also great to have laundry facilities. The owner of the property had beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and large beach bag available to us, which was great! Palmas Del Mar is a beautiful place, with lots of security. Most people spoke English, and staff at the local shops and restaurants are really helpful. One thing to keep in mind though, is travelers will need a rental car. Grocery stores are outside the resort, as are most of the calmest beaches. We will return, definitely!"
