  • Perfect getaway

"Los Chivos is located on a quiet street that follows the crest of a hill located right in the middle of the island. The house is never hot because of the refreshing winds coming from both Atlantic and Caribbean directions. For the same reason, mosquitoes are practically negligible. Views are magnificent either way. When the sun rises, the colors of the sky and the sea create most amazing images and would be a source of delight for anybody interested in photography. Because of the central location, all the best beaches, as well as Isabel II and Esperanza are within easy reach. The house is well furnished, we had enough towels, linens etc. The furniture is not new but rather solid and comfortable. The kitchen appliances and laundry were all functional, there was everything necessary for cooking including a small barbecue. The spacious wrapping deck was our favorite place at all times of the day. Barry and Ogla were readily available and ready to assist with all our needs; many thanks for their kind attitude. When compared to the similar rental properties in Vieques this place is a bargain. I would recommend the Los Chivos property for anybody looking for a safe, quite and affordable place to stay near the wonderful beaches of Vieques."

  • Great Location, Owner, and Value!!

"Just returned from a week long stay at Dell's place for a wedding. Saved a ton of money by skipping the whole resort experience. The place was in a great location right on the beach. And everything I needed from beach chairs, towels, coolers, and various beach toys/sports equipment was included. El Alambique (the restaurant attached to the building) had fantastic food and I highly recommend their mofongo. Finally, Dell was extremely helpful in suggesting activities and restaurants and was responsive to all of my inquiries. I would definitely stay here again!!"

  • Outstanding

"This was our second trip to Vieques and our first VRBO experience and it was absolutely perfect. I had high expectations with the reviews I read before our visit, but Casa Dos Chivos was even better than I expected. The house is even nicer than the photos show; it was spotless and well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing beach vacation. We made great use of the beach supplies (chairs, coolers, umbrella, etc.) and the DVD library. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was both hot and powerful. I'm not sure how another VRBO rental will be able to live up to Casa Dos Chivos!"

  • Palmas Del Mar = Great!

"Our group had a great time at Villa Familia in Palmas Del Mar, Puerto Rico. We found the house large and comfortable and spent many hours enjoying the private pool in the backyard. Palmas del Mar is a magical place. We walked miles through beautiful communities and amazing landscaping. We went to the long and beautiful beach, visited the pterocarpus forest enjoying it’s boardwalk tour of nature, had dinner at great restaurants all without leaving the resort. But that was just the beginning of our great vacation. Villa Familia is wonderfully situated to get a fast start to many other locations. We enjoyed the art at the San Juan Museum of art (very contemporary and most exciting); roamed about Old San Juan. Toured the Serralles Castle in Ponce. Swam in Rincon. Kayaked in the Humacao Nature Preserve. Visited the Camuy Caves and the Radio Telescope project on the same day. And had a very special eco tour of the Las Cabazas de San Juan Nature Preserve in Fajardo. As women traveling alone throughout PR, we were most impressed with the positive welcome we received everywhere and how comfortably we felt moving around on our own. I can’t wait to return to PR. I would definitely stay at Villa Familia a second time. It’s a great place to see PR from!"
