  • El Palomar Beach House is the place to be!

"This beach house was Awesome!! I want to get out the way that the neighborhood isn't the prettiest but it holds so much charm and the neighbors, Orlando & Omar, are soo nice & welcoming you quickly learn to get past it. The bright rooster painted on the wall, the fact that we saw hummingbirds and lizards everyday, along with the atmosphere of the almost constant music playing from either local organization's or during the night at the outside bar area just a few feet away from the house also helped us to really look at the area differently. This house is Beautiful!! My husband and I loved every detail Maria put into this house from the light airy colors, the little touches like the portable Bluetooth speaker and underwater camera, the decorations, and definitely the rooftop, the view was amazing!! The stairs are a little challenging but Tony, who was so nice, told us they had a plan for those and we plan to come back and find out. The bakery down the street from the police station had some of the best patries and bread I have Ever tasted! My favorite was the Almond pound cake and warm bread! All in all this is the perfect spot for couples to get away and relax, walk to the beach a few feet away and get lost in each other. We loved everything about our vacation to Aguadilla especially this house and we will definitely be back!"

  • Great value on beach and bus lines

"We wanted a fun place to stay for a few days before our cruise ship sailed. Since our adult daughters and their fiances would be flying to join us on different days, we needed a condo big enough for three or four couples, and we needed a place where it would be convenient for people to arrive at different times. This condo was, by far, the best value I could find in San Juan. With four double beds and 1.5 baths, we had plenty of room. The couch was large, and the dining room table seated six easily. Since the door was operated by a code, everyone could let themselves into the condo whenever their plane arrived, no keys needed. The condo had a basic feeling (not upscale), but the furniture was all very comfortable. I did wish that it had blankets on the beds, though. The AC was set too low for us, and if we adjusted it, it reverted back to "cold" after a couple of hours. We learned to turn it off at night. Phenomenal access to the beach, and the pool was gorgeous. The staff made this condo building feel like a very welcoming hotel. It was great having a washing machine and dryer, too, since we could leave for our cruise with our suitcases full of clean clothes. I think only the cold water worked on the washing machine, though, as nothing happened when I tried to use the hot water. Easy walk to two Walgreens for groceries and sundries. Metropol and Platos were the best nearby restaurants, though Lupi's had the advantage of being closest and open late at night. Note: The unit does not guarantee toilet paper, though there was some when we got there. Supplies are minimal, as we were told in advance, so we packed a roll of paper towels, tp, laundry soap, coffee, dish sponge, etc. I think that the lodging tax in San Juan was close to 20%, so keep that in mind when budgeting. Taxis cost over $20 to go to downtown San Juan, but two bus lines a block away took us there for only 75 cents each way. We were told they came on "island time", so we wandered out to catch them whenever, and that worked fine. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to others."

  • Beautiful views and a perfect place to relax

"We had an amazing time during our stay in Ceiba. Monica was very attentive and answered all of our questions promptly. The house is out in the country but there are excellent directions that make it very easy to locate. The house is within a quick drive of grocery stores and the beach which we loved. We were also able to visit the rainforest for a day which was spectacular. The pool and jacuzzi had a broken heater which made for some pretty chilly night swimming however, the weather was warm enough that it felt great during the day. The outside of the house had a huge patio and grill for bbq's which we took advantage of. Our only complaint was the wifi strength was pretty poor, making it tough to use our phones unless we were standing close to the router. I enjoyed this as it meant more time together and less Internet, however some people in the group had trouble keeping up with work as planned. Monica was a great host and we would definitely book this amazing house again!"
