  • Excellent experience! Reluctant to share the details...

"My husband and I visited beautiful Puerto Rico for one week in celebration of my 50th Birthday. We just return yesterday and have already planned for another visit! I say reluctant to share the details only because I want to keep it a secret! Although I'd like to keep it a secret, I cannot! Rita deserves the highest praise for providing such a comfortable getaway. She and Denise hustled to accommodate our early arrival but never missed any details. The cabana was incredibly clean and comfortable. I felt like I was staying in someone's home. What is offered in the description, is what you get! I love the beach and the access to it and all the restaurants and everything else you can possible desire is within walking distance. Rita, thank you so much for everything. Mucho gusto! And I will continue to work on my Spanish!"

  • Amazing location, Fantastic rooftop deck, super comfortable bed

"We stayed here as two adults in our 30s for a first time visit in PR. First and foremost- this is the ultimate location hands down! Right in the heart of beautiful Old San Juan. The rooftop deck here is simply amazing- we enjoyed most mornings and nights here! The bed was extremely comfortable. The unit is spacious and decorated well. There are all amenities for cooking and even a cooler for day trips as the grocery store is within close walking distance. Important things to know- the noise outside this unit can get annoying- we rarely get to sleep in and really wanted to enjoy that on vacation. The city employees were yelling in the streets at 7am along with truck sounds of garbage pick up and store deliveries. We live in a City back home and the noise level was fairly intense beginning around 7am each day. If you can't handle stairs-this is not your place. You will go up many flights to get to your unit. If you pay to park with this unit be ready- the spot they tell you to park in is not marked as the paint has worn away. When we first parked someone else was parked in the spot we were to park in and the attendant told us to go to the adjoining sandwich shop (next to the rental) and tell them to move but then the attendant showed us a secondary parking spot the sandwich shop uses. These spots belong to the sandwich shop and you will mention that each time you pull in the garage to the attendant as they will want to park you for a fee. The parking garage is quite the nightmare- do not rent a large vehicle or you won't fit- we paid $500 for damaging our rental car in the tight turns on this garage and bottoming out. But, we were thankful the garage was there as street parking is not easy to find. Some negatives about the unit- more towels should be left for a week stay as our towels were terrible by the last day/ you are showering a ton as you are sweating buckets walking around exploring. There are zero cleaning supplies, this makes cleaning up after cooking difficult- there was one sponge left and that had to be thrown away by day 4. More towels, more kitchen towels, dish cloths, back up garbage bags and dish soap should be at the unit to clean up after yourself. The kitchen sink has issues and needs to be serviced it's very hard to get the water to shut off and needs a new faucet. Similarly the shower handle that controls the shower popped off and was hard to get lined up again and we struggled every time we showered."

  • Lovely

"I booked this place for me and my twin sisters Birthday, January 20-23. Owner is very understandable and flexible with payment options. he broke mine down into 3 payments to make if fair for the group and especially since the payments were in the midst of Christmas holiday time. he accommodated his place for all 18 of my guests. The Pictures he has currently up does NO justice. it gives you this image of JUST OK... BUT when you get there and see his place in person, it blew me away.. it is absolutely Gorgeous. very beautiful kitchen. the House had Minor problems such as in the Master bathroom it was water leakage from the shower coming out on too the floors. the toilet in that room was not flooding, but it wouldn't flush without adding extra water in the toilet. The other bathroom, by the two rooms that tub was clogged so you were standing in your own dirty bath water but, nonetheless he got the tub fixed right away. still was having problems with the shower and Toilet but we worked with it! he still has Little fixes here an there to work on in the house but again it was all Minor stuff. The Pool table is VERY Fragile, needs a new one. Couldn't really use the pool at night because it was too cold. but going Zip Lining and ATV riding during the day in the hot sun sure was Perfect enough for the pool. I would recommend this housing to anyone with a large group. I would also recommend you bring your Own Towels and wash rags he doesn't supply that. and also if he would place RUGS on the floor of his bathrooms, stepping out of the shower on the floors with everybody made the floors wet. He has also a washer and Dryer, Not sure if the last group left there detergent but it was needed after ATV riding. GREAT PLACE!."
