  • Nice Family Vacation

"This house was almost perfect for our stay at Rincon. We've been to other areas of Puerto Rico but so far this is our favorite. Allison was great and answered every question I had. The description of the house was exactly the way we found it and the fact that you have the beach as your backyard made it truly amazing. Those who travel to Rincon must be prepared to pay higher than normal prices for food, drinks, etc...since this is a tourist town, but it's totally worth it. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that it gets very hot in the summer months and rains almost every afternoon. With no a/c in the common areas it can get really hot, breezes tend to die down when it's raining. Also, there are no TV's in the bedrooms. We were traveling with 3 children, ages 8, 13 and 16.....having only one TV in the living room area made it very difficult especially on those rainy afternoons. The sunset views were magnificent and listening to the waves at night was great. If you don't mind a little heat and have no need for TV in the rooms, then this house is totally perfect. I would recommend this house without a thought...you will not regret it. Can't wait to get back next summer."

  • Fabulous Getaway - Truly Paradise

"We recently returned from an amazing trip to Puerto Rico. Dianna's house and property in Rincon is the definition of relaxation and beauty. The grounds were beautiful, the views amazing, the pool relaxing, and everything we needed was a short walk or drive away. Dianna was most helpful during the booking process and Rob (the on location property manager) was helpful and only a phone call away if needed. We cannot wait for our next return to Rincon and would love to stay at Oceanview Paradise again."

  • Quiet, beautiful, beachfront

"We traveled to Rincon for a destination wedding. This was our first VRBO and the owner was very helpful in accommodating our stay. The condo building was very quiet and nearly empty. The facility was very clean and we enjoyed the pool every day of our stay. You are steps away from a beautiful walk on the beach where you can see lots of wildlife. The beach isn't really equipped for swimming as it is very rocky near the shoreline, but it is perfect if you want to dip your toes in the sand. There is a beach within walking distance that is better for swimming and paddle boarding which we also enjoyed. You can also walk to multiple restaurants! The condo was perfect for my parents, fiance' and I. We had trouble with the Wifi on the first night which was concerning for my parents who work remotely, but the owner was very helpful in troubleshooting and getting our issue resolved! I would highly recommend this place for anyone travelling to Rincon."

  • Wonderful forest retreat

"We love staying at Cristina's property in the forest! The cottage is in a large private forest next to a river. The forest is mature and undisturbed, there are tons of frogs, lizards, and birds - a nature lover's dream. The scenery is beautiful and there are several trails on the property to go exploring. If you walk all the way to the top of the hill you can actually watch the sun set in the Caribbean and get a good view of Desecheo. The cottage is rustic but in a quaint way - the walls are wood but you have all the amenities and comfort you could wish for (laundry, A/C, kitchen, hot water, etc.). I love sitting on the large front porch when eating my breakfast and my group enjoyed using the barbecue in the evenings! It is much cooler up there in the mountains than in the city, we were very comfortable only running the ceiling and wall fans. The property is also really ideally located. I've not found another rental like it in Puerto Rico - you can have your forest retreat but still be a very short drive from all the tourist attractions! It's only a 30 minute drive from the property into Rincon, 15 minutes to Mayaguez, and 45 minutes to Cabo Rojo. There's so much to see in this region and the sunsets are amazing. Cristina has always been extremely responsive and welcoming to us when we stay there (this is our 3rd trip to her property). We can't wait for our next trip to this little forest paradise!"
