  • Awesome Family Vacation Home

"I don't typically write reviews but this place is worth it. Altamira is a very nice and quite neighborhood, great location to travel and move around. As others described, the house is updated with modern and convenient appliances, it's spacious with a nice layout of both indoor and outdoor (private) spaces to enjoy. The bedrooms each are setup with their own AC climate control so you sleep like a baby on their comfortable beds. You can stretch out on the hammock in their front balcony and check out a nice view or bbq in side patio, or lounge in the back patio. This place, again as stated in other reviews, is a couple of minutes from Ralph's supermarket, fast food, restaurants, and a pharmacy and ten minutes from Luquillo Beach which our kids loved (the chairs, beach toys, and ice chest were very convenient to use too). Our kids also loved the pool table in the lower floor but we all had a good time there. This was our first time using this site to travel and I have to say Carlos has set the bar very high, my wife will not consider staying anywhere else when we go back. We stayed 5 nights but it wasn't enough, too much to check out, consider at least a full week. We communicated very well with Carlos and the contract was fair and followed. Can't say enough about this place, if you are in the area, stay here!"

  • Perfect: Scenic, Tranquil, and Convenient

"This condo offered the location we sought at a reasonable price. It was our first time in Rincon. We loved everything about the condo and the area. My husband and I wanted a quiet beach get-away, a respite from the Boston winter. We visited Rincon in early January. The condo is conveniently located to the beach, our main interest in Rincon. The more popular beaches are 15+min drive away. Luckily, we preferred the closet beach because it was quiet, clean, sandy shoreline with easy swimming access: It felt more like a private beach. If you want to get a snack or beverage, you can use the nearby Rincon beach resort restaurant & bar. They offer a hefty pour and the fish tacos are decent. The unit was about 5-10+ min grocery stores, gas stations, and great restaurants. We recommend watching the sunset at least one night from Picoteo, which is less than a 5 min walk from the unit. The unit was clean and well-maintained with an amazing patio. The condo owner met us when we arrived to walk through the unit and answer any questions. The condo was equipped with everything we may need during a beach stay. It felt like we had a beach home for a few days. The bedrooms and bathroom were a good size. Both were well-maintained and clean. The patio offers an amazing view of the sunset and coast. Our overall stay at this property was excellent. We plan to return again!"

"The villa was cozy and just what we needed as our home away from home for our vacation."

  • Amazing Ocean View

"This a great condo right on the beach. The owner has it stocked with everything you need. The bed linens were luxurious and comfortable and everything was very clean. They have a double parking space under the building - very convenient. The Wyndham hotel next door was very busy because of the holiday season but the pools and beach in front of the condo were never crowded. Plenty of chairs were available. (And nice beach towels in the condo too!) The hotel had an absolutely incredible fireworks display for New Year's Eve. They also had a $155/ person party. As this was a family trip with a child, we opted for dinner in the hotel at Shima and watched the fireworks from the condo balcony. Service and food at the hotel restaurants: Shima - excellent, Marbella - horrible, Palio - great food, horrible service, Coffee bar - great pastries, long lines. Antijotes Restaurant(at the bottom of the hill as you leave the resort) was very good - try the Mofongo. Baleaneario Monserratte beach at Liquillo was fun - dine at the Kioskos. We also went horseback riding through the rain forest at Carballo's and zip lining at Jungleaqui - both nearby and highly recommended. Super fun trip and we hope to return!"
