  • True Paradise

"We spent a Thursday - Monday at Nature's Paradise in Avocado Cottage to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We could not have picked a better place to call home. The view from the porch was absolutely amazing and peaceful. It was a great place to enjoy a cold drink after a day exploring the most beautiful island we have been to. Wanda has done an amazing job with the gardens. The sunsets from the pool were breath taking and romantic. The day we arrived another couple was also arriving, so David picked us up at the airport and gave us a little site seeing tour on the way to the our paradise. David and Wanda are soooo nice and hospitable. David is a wealth of information and will take care of everything for you - restaurant recommendations and reservations, tour recommendations, car rental, taxi drivers, etc. I would recommend taking David's Eco Adventure tour to Soufriere. Wanda does a great job with the gardens and prepares a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruits, breads and cheese each weekday. They make you feel you are part of their home. We felt so relaxed, it was a true vacation. It is VERY high on our list of best vacations. We would definitely go back. Thanks to David and Wanda for making us feel so welcome."

  • great location, well maintained, great management

"This property is what you think of when you think of a vacation rental. Great location, well maintained, great price, great communication with owner and manager, everything was just great. The property is 10 mins from airport. Arnold, the manager, was always available and was waiting for us when we arrived. He showed us everything that was needed. The property is right on the beach, like 3 feet from the waters edge. The AC works really well, everything is really clean, the bed was comfortable. There was even sunscreen, bug repellent, and snorkeling equipment available (I believe this may be left over from other vacationers, so I wouldnt hold the owners accountable if those things arent there for you). The only thing I would warn people about is that the parking is small compare to stateside standards, I personally didn't have a problem parking the car, but I can see how others would have a problem. Depends on your driving background, and if you decided to get a big manly car when you arrived. Arnold is really good at telling you how to park, follow his directions, hes great. Thank you Arnold and Lourdes for everything. David & Leanne."

  • Exumas one of the most beautiful places on Earth!

"One word can describe our visit to Exuma Cays "Amazing" . My Daughter and I visited BlackPoint Cay and stayed in Ida's two bedroom cottage. She was a gracious host and owner. Everything was perfect. Upon arrival she greeted us at the airport with our rented Golf Cart true VIP status. The cottages are very well decorated and with all amenities as a home away from home. Views from the cottages simply breathtaking with a gorgeous sunset every day. She also arranged a boat rental that we used for the day to visit the swimming pigs and other Cays in the area. Simply beautiful area The EXUMAS! Cant wait to go back. Warm friendly people on Black Point we had an awesome vacation. Thank you Ida look forward to returning soon."

  • Vacation in Paradise!!

"We just returned from a week in St. John and the fabulous Villa Catalina. This vacation was truly amazing!! It was our second time on the island and our first at Villa Catalina. I cannot say enough how pleasant and easy it was to deal with the owner, Claudia. From start to finish this was truly easy breezy. The villa was exactly as pictured (even better in real life) It had everything you could possibly need to enjoy yourself on this little piece of Paradise called St. John. We were met at the ferry by Myrtle who was wonderful and patient while we dealt with renting our jeeps, etc. We were a family of 6; all adults (4 young adults) I would recommend this place for a large family or 3 couples traveling together. Waking up and seeing the Caribbean from your bed just cannot be beat!! Very peaceful and quiet location, only 10 minutes to Cruz Bay and about 20 minutes to the many amazing beaches of St. John. The villa is well maintained and cared for and it shows. Lots of books and games in case you are bored or need something to do; along with a beautiful new flat screen tv (which we never turned on!) Great wifi and cell service at the villa too. We cannot wait to come back!! Not to be missed.... Joe's Rum Hut, Rhumblines and the Longboard in Cruz Bay, Miss Lucy's in Coral Bay and of course, Columbo's Smoothie Stand on Centerline Road. We frequented Hawksnest Beach, Jumbie Beach, Cinnamon Bay, Maho Bay, Francis Bay, Salt Pond Bay and Drunk Bay. A different beach every day; what could be better?? Jeep rentals through St. John Car Rental; very easy to work with. We did a 1/2 day Catamaran snorkel sail on the Kekoa- would highly recommend. All girl crew was fantastic and fun. We hated to leave; truly. We will be back!!!! Thank you Claudia and Javier!!"
