  • Best Destination Yet!

"I am an educator who has traveled the world with student groups and my stay at La Finca Caribe was one of the most amazing yet. From the minute I made contact with Scott, the property manager, I was made to feel like a valued guest...which is not always the case when you travel with 18 teenagers! Scott was the "Yes" man; he was beyond helpful with info regarding tours, transportation, and activities on the island. Things only got better from there: meeting Bill, our other charming host; the pure joy you feel when you arrive at the beautiful, intoxicating surroundings that are La Finca; the sounds and sights of the Caribbean jungle; the magic of the breeze on the open porch of Casa Grande amidst the twinkling lights at night...There were so many highlights of our stay at La Finca including the fully equipped, huge kitchen, the outdoor showers, as well as the salt water pool. There were so many places we could be that we never felt crowded or cramped, even in a group of 20. Best of all, though, was the impeccable attention to detail that our hosts, Scott and Bill, contributed that made our stay especially awesome. They were never too busy to answer the zillion questions the students had; they took us to the Sugar Mill and helped the kids catch tarantulas and open coconuts! The smaller houses on the property were also gorgeous and I can't wait to return with my family sometime soon. I also really appreciated the emphasis on green travel that La Finca supports! Thanks Scott & Bill for doing everything in your power to make our stay the best!"

  • Great Location

"This condo is in a great location and is very clean. Our family had a great stay in this penthouse and we will be staying here again! This unit has the BEST views for morning coffee and having a cocktail when the sun goes down. The owners are wonderful and quick to reply to any request. Thanks for letting us use your place."

  • Our 'home away from home' at the beautiful Casa de Pepito!

"This Vieques vacation was super special for my husband, son & I. We were hoping to experience the island in a more traditional setting and staying at this beautiful home in the heart of Esperanza was exactly what we were looking for and more! We loved everything about it, the comfort of the home and the amenities provided by the owners, the location in the village itself, a short walk to the Malecon, the local eateries, shopping & beaches. The home itself is well manintained, immaculate, and has everything you might need for an island vacation. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms was key as my 17-yr old son appreciated his privacy, as did we. The king and queen beds were super comfortable, and were outfitted with beautiful luxurious bedding that conformed to the serene white theme in each of the rooms. The bath linens were so fluffly & smelled so fresh, not like hotel towels! When in need, there was individual AC in each room as well. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to prepare and cook a dinner, even a Weber grill outside! Having wifi was beneficial when we wanted to connect, which we didn't do too often. We loved that the fridge had the water/ice feature, as we were able to refill bottles to take to the beaches everyday. As we did quite a bit of beach adventures and snorkeling, it was great to have a cooler, umbrella, chairs and extra gear to take along if we needed it, and we did! Upon returning from our days, the outside shower was a plus for cleaning off sand from us and our equipment. We thoroughly loved spending time on the porch in the mornings and evenings enjoying the island sounds of the birds, horses and frogs. We knew as soon as we booked this home it was the best choice because a lovely rapport began with the owners, Catherine & Octavian. They were so willing to help us with suggestions for anything we needed or were concerned about, even car rentals. The caretaker, Aurelio, was super pleasant & friendly, and he provided great 'local' information; best snorkeling beaches, BioBay tours, where to shop locally for groceries & pastries (bakery around the corner!), and where to eat on the Malecon - Bananas for lunch, Bili for dinner, LazyJacks for pizza/bar. Book reservations for The Next Course & hit TinBox f/ BBQ. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives; it's perfect for 2 couples, or a family looking to get away from it all, but close enough to experience real island life!"

  • Excellent Condo, owner, location and staff

"We absolutely loved our stay at Mark's condo. It was close to everything without being noisy. Probably the most comfortable bed and pillows ever. The staff and neighbors were very nice and didn't make us feel like unwanted tourist. Close to everything and even though this was the one vacation I boycotted cooking, in the event we wanted to, everything you need to prepare meals was available. I like the fact that if you don't use it and it's not open you can leave it for the next guest or cleaning staff. Don't get me wrong we cleaned out the fridge but throwing away beer just didn't see right. Pool area was nice and relaxing. Just what we needed. Thank you Mark. We will be back. Billy and Connie"
