"Great location. Right on beach. Condo was nice but needs to be updated. Beach was not crowded and the people at the resort are very hospitable. Location is so close to airport and many great restaurants and bars Simpson bay was isolated from most winds"

  • Perfect Location

"This really is the perfect location for a quiet and relaxed vacation it is a very short walk to the beach and lots of dining options within walking distance. Delphine's apartment had beach chairs which were so nice (it saved us lots of rental fees for chairs at the beach) the patio was private. The apartment was very clean and safe. Delphine was very easy to work with and had timely response to all my emails. I special thanks to Sylvie for helping with the easy check in and check out. We look forward to our return next year."

  • Up Up and Away Bombay and St. Marteen

"I arrived in SXM with an SUV awaiting, drove to the penthouse, parked, took the elevator to the fourth floor and entered a beautifully appointed hallway, dropped my luggage in my room, and promptly took a shower. Great water pressure, that’s a must. After the shower I crawled into bed, adjusted the remote A/C and instantly fell asleep. I awoke from a sound sleep, fab mattress, uber soft sheets, and proceeded to the kitchen to prepare my morning tea. I ventured onto the private penthouse balcony and slipped into a comfy lounge chair, sipped my cup of tea with the company of serenity, solitude, and the rhythmic sound of the ocean waves that reached the private beach below. The penthouse is on the fourth floor with a view to kill. Not only does it have three bedrooms and two and a half baths; one is located in the master suite, the second shared by the other bedrooms, and the half bath which is conveniently set off of the main living space. Additionally, the master suite has its’ own private balcony. Balcony number two can be shared by all, especially at sunset. The kitchen is appointed with the needs to prepare fine dining. The owners have a liquor cabinet and they only ask that you replace what you’ve enjoyed. I left you some Bombay. Ah, but you have finished your book and it’s time to plan some meals. Local grocery stores, both French and Dutch are gloriously stocked. My personal favorites are Carrefour (Dutch side) and Simply Markets (French Side). But you also have the option to order groceries online at Stop N Drop Grocery SXM and they deliver, WOW! The penthouse owners will arrange a rental car for your convenience of travel around the island during your stay. A driving tour is a must. When you dine out choose Sarafina’s for breakfast, Rosemary’s for lunch, and for dinner Le Delight Bistro. At the Bistro you can order tapas for dinner and enjoy a variety. My first time eating escargot and now I have another vice. Swimming in the ocean @ your choice of 37 beaches is a must! The water temperature at the end of May is perfect. Venture on the road behind the Westin at Dawn Beach to see monkeys in the wild. Keep your windows up and beware of the treacherous road surface, SUVs only please. Then return to the penthouse, relax, watch TV, DVDs, listen to music, explore the art throughout the penthouse, and end your day on the balcony , where we started, with a Bombay and Tonic. Up Up and away, Bombay🌞"

  • Relaxing and peaceful property

"We were here March 2016. Group of 4 adults. 1st time not using an all inclusive resort. Large 2 bedroom + loft unit. Very spacious, clean, and unbelievably quiet. We couldn't believe how the only sounds we heard were the waves of the ocean. View from 2nd floor balcony was beautiful. Even though there is a parking lot in between the condo and the beach, you can't see it through the landscaping and it isn't used at night. The view from the bedrooms balconies were of the mountains and the surrounding village. All of us thought the beds were incredible! Clean. The unit had all we needed and the manager Julie answered all our questions quickly and effectively. We asked for a BBQ and she got one. The loft would only be good for children as it is open concept into the living room / kitchen area so sleeping in the a.m. would be difficult if that was a need. We had a cleaning lady come in once and she did a great job. We wish we had more towels in between the once visit. There is a washing machine but we didn't end up using it. Parking included. Building is very safe and is locked on all sides. We wish we had been given 4 keys instead of 2 as difficult when we were going back and forth to the beach at different times but not a huge deal. The pool is small and walled in without a view. You would never use it during the day as there is no wind and the area gets very hot. We used it at the end of the day for a cool off. The beach is beautiful (with the exception of some minor seaweed but we know that this is common throughout most if not all the Caribbean right now). It's in a relatively quiet area of the Orient Beach scene but a close walk if you need more action and about 15 minute walk to the nude beach (which is calmer as its in a bay). We weren't happy with the service at Waikiki Beach which provided the chairs/umbrellas as part of the condo deal. They NEVER came and asked us for service (drinks or food). They would only serve the customers of Waikiki and we weren't allowed to sit in the more comfortable chairs. They would take the umbrellas away at 3:30/4:00 if the cruise customers had left as they wanted to go home. The bathrooms at Waikiki were gross!!!! We saw staff using the chair sheds to have sex with tourists! Thank goodness we were a short walk to our condo. Night life is quiet. A short walk to the Village - pricey but good. They take US dollars at par at most places which was good for us instead of Euro. Highly recommend Princess Eden unit!"
