  • Amazing Caribbean Villa

"Easy to find/access. Spent most of our time in or around the private 30ft. pool or surrounding patios. Lots of room and privacy inside and out. Free Wi-Fi and magic jack phone to the U.S. were definitely plusses. So relaxing, we almost didn't go anywhere else. However, I would definitely recommend renting a car. We only utilized two of the three available bedrooms. Even though we were sharing the common areas of the Villa, there was still seclusion/privacy with each bedroom. Had read complaints about mosquitoes outside and around the pool. We prepared by bringing citronella candles and insect repellant. Did not need either. Never saw one mosquito. Perhaps it was the breeze. We still used the candles around the pool at night for ambience and left them for future guests. La Casita is the perfect Villa getaway for couples, families, or friends to take a wonderful St. Martin vacation. Highly recommended. Would love to return, soon."

  • Excellent family vacation

"Our "extended" family--our 3 kids and 2 of their friends--spent a fabulous week at Villa Pom. We wanted to be close enough to a variety of activities, while not feeling boxed in by a dense resort. Maly was very helpful getting us off to a good start, and I texted her throughout the week for tips and recommendations. The beach out side the house is not really a lounging beach, though the pool is a great future. We took full advantage of the kayaks to get a bit of a workout on our way to Pinel Island, before plopping into a chaise to lounge away the afternoon with cold drinks and great food. The hammock was always occupied--the kids always got to it before I could. Easy access to Orient Beach and Grand Case. Lots of water sports. We were there in low season, so some places were closed. That said, we never had to wait for anything. Great restaurants in Grand Case, though they seem to collude on price!! Other than the barbecue joints, all menus were in the same range, so we ended up spending more than intended to feed our crew of 7. The house, itself, was well appointed, and the beds (at least the one in the master) was among the most comfortable beds in which I've ever slept. My wife and I would readily return, either with the kids or with a few other couples."

  • location location location. what an awesome place to stay

"Where to start?? WOW!! This place is amazing and Van's unit is the perfect unit. Its right on the beach on the bottom floor with beach literally 10 steps from the back door. We went out with our friends everyday and had the best time ever. The unit had everything in it that you would need. There is a grocery store we walked to about 3 minutes away. Also there are resteraunts right across the street however i thing the resteraunt at royal palms is the best kept secret there. we ate at several places but I think the resteraunt at Royal Palms was great. I would strongly urge anyone looking to stay in Van's unit. It is awesome."
