  • Lovely stay at orient beach

"We just recently returned from a lovely stay at Casa Azul. We have rented this villa several times with friends and also other families, and this past trip, two families with four young children. Veronique has always been very responsive and helpful, and this time she left a basket of beach and pool toys, and supplied two cribs and two high chairs for us. She also helped us find an English speaking babysitter so we could enjoy two nights out to dinner away from the kids. The village is very convenient to shop and get croissants and baguettes. We always have a lovely time and can't wait to come back!!"

  • The Real Deal

"There is a reason that every review is 5 stars- the condo is wonderful. It was a final family vacation before our oldest starts college this fall, and it was the perfect choice. Clean and spacious, three large bedrooms, a great sun room and an outdoor balcony. Each day we explored a different area of the island. Some of our top choices: 1. Rent your SUV from Unity (Brian connected us with them)- nothing better than having your vehicle delivered to you at the airport and then dropping it off in the departure lane. 2. Orient Beach was our favorite beach- we loved the water and casual restaurants- Parking was easy. Other top beaches- Cupecoy- right outside the condo and a private little beach by Little Bay. (There is public parking right next to the Belair Beach Hotel.) 3. We did 2 snorkeling trips. One with Octopus Diving- 3 out of 5 stars: The Creole Rock site is excellent. The other trip was with Captain Alan's Snorkeling- 5 out of 5 stars. A little more expensive, but well worth it. We did the 1/2 day tour and enjoyed every second. Got to see the sea turtles. 4. Croissants at Sarafinas. 5. Beachfront dinner at Grand Case, but just as delicious was a crepe stand near the parking lot. 6. Loterie Farm. My son and I did the hike and saw wild monkeys 7. Card games at night in the sun room overlooking the sea. The internet worked, but was slow for international work. My VPN connection kept getting dropped. Don't plan on doing a lot of remote work, but who really wants to anyway? Dawn beach- too much seaweed. Glad we were not staying there. Philipsburg- we are not big shoppers, so this was a wasted 2 hours. Too many tourists and bad restaurants. Unexpected memorable event: Used google maps on the cell phone while driving, and it worked fine. Occasionally it would route you through "short cuts" that you would not ordinarily plan on taking. One time a wrong turn and inability to take a U turn had us go over one of the highest points- the grade was over 15% and it felt like the SUV was going to tip over backwards. More exciting than any roller coaster- a highlight that even the teens didn't want to repeat. We highly recommend this condo."

  • Paradise Revisited

"We were lucky enough to get the whole month of March in this fantastic condo. Of all the units in Princess Heights this has to be the most convenient one. It overlooks the swimming pool and early every morning you get to see why they call the beach "Dawn Beach" with a fantastic sunrise and a bonus view of St.Barts. The condo is very well appointed and being here for a whole month had plenty of storage for all we brought. We have rented from VRBO since 2004 and without a doubt Steve is the finest person we have rented from taking fantastic care of all our needs. Dave from Michigan"
