  • Awesome Stay

"In short the stay was wonderful. Here are the details: Arrival: At check-in I was greeted by two gentlemen. One was in training. The process went very smoothly. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just make sure to read all charges that would apply to you if you do not comply with their reasonable requests. Room: The room was located on the 6th floor of building 2 (I believe). from the pool area or the office are, you would have to take 6 flight of stairs to get to the room. So we got access to the parking area that was on the same level as our room by one floor. So if you have problems walking, please e aware that you will have to go up and down about 20 steps each day....or if you want to go to the pool....you might have to drive down there or go down quite a few steps. The room itself was great. We had a great view of the ocean and you can sit on the porch and relax and listen to the waves crashing on the beach. Between that and the mountains at the entrance of the room, we were in paradise. The room was being cleaned when we arrived. The lady had to rush and clean so we could get in, so there were some spots that were missed, but overall the room was in good shape. We had a fully furnished one bedroom apartment with 1.5 bathroom. We had a king sized bed in the bedroom with a double sleeper sofa and a twin size sleeper sofa. There was a full kitchen...that was helpful. All the cookware was included. Amenities: There was a pool. A nice size pool I might add. No fancy cabanas,,,just a pool with some lounge chairs and umbrellas. Pool was kept clean as well as the surrounding areas. There was a laundry room available for use. It was free. You only had to bring your own detergent. Although they only had one washer and dryer available...there was never a backup of guests trying to do their wash. Staff: Amazing staff. From the front desk to the maintenance crew...all were very nice and attentive. My wife lost her phone at the pool and my kids left their sunglasses there. Both were immediately sent to the front office and was returned to use safely. Location: The location is not bad. Its away from all the busy roads of the downtown area. Only issue is that it could be dangerous at night if you don't pay attention to the roads. There are ditches on the side of the road you could easily drive in to. Also the roads are narrow and cars tend to speed up and down a hill as well as when turning a corner. There are a few restaurants in the area. Get a car!"

  • Great Experience

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've rented several waterfront homes and this one was our favorite, even though it's not actually waterfront. You might wonder how this could be possible. Well, it comes down to the combination of view, interior layout, price, privacy, property condition, and being able to hear the waves. This place scored well on all six. The house itself is comfortable, spacious and dramatic with multiple sets of large sliding glass doors to capitalize on the view. We were relieved that the house was far from the congested areas but close to several good restaurants and a convenience store that makes fresh pastries every morning. It's on a steep hillside so the road is steep, the driveway is steep and the path to the beach is steep. That might not be for everyone but most people aren't put off by such things. We had a great time there and would gladly rent it again."

  • Resort like setting

"Our family just returned after a weeks stay at the property. The experience was smooth from booking to arrival to departure. Samantha met us at our car rental and escorted us to the gated neighborhood and property. She walked us through the ins and out of the house and introduced us to the cats who live at the house. We had groceries delivered and where there upon arrival. We were immediately set to begin our relaxing stay. As mentioned in earlier reviews the neighborhood is steep as well as the driveway but please know that this is typical of all islands we have visited and is not treacherous. The open floor plan and private bedrooms were perfect for our family. The pool and swim up bar was utilized daily and we were thankful for the privacy the home provided our family. Often we all noticed how great it was to be on the island and have all the resort amenities without the resort restrictions of restaurant dress for every meal. The home is centrally located on the island to take advantage of both the French and Dutch sides. We loved our stay!"
