  • What a great place!

"First and foremost, the pictures and descriptions are exactly true! From the spacious rooms to the inviting patio, pool and outdoor grill, all nestled in a gated community... we couldn't have picked a better homebase for our month in St. Maarten. This wonderful villa is situated about 15 minutes from downtown Phillipsburg with its touristy fun and 15 minutes from Orient Beach with its AMAZING little restaurants. Now, to Mary (the owner): You, your friendliness and hospitality were the 'icing on the cake'. We cannot thank you enough for your availability and personal attention to us. Your nearby friends were helpful and just that: friendly! Your staff was efficient and friendly as well. Your personal hospitality book with not only your 'Favorites' but with contact names at the different places was invaluable! Your home felt like ours for the month. Thank you so very much!"

  • Villa Leones--like a dream!

"Villa Leones was the perfect villa for us to celebrate my birthday and escape the real world. The view was breath taking whether sitting out back by the pool, eating under the gazebo, or looking out from the master bedroom. We loved the seclusion of the property and felt the area was quite safe. The villa is right on the border of the French and Dutch side making it easy to access both sides of the island. We rented a car and took advantage of exploring most of the island checking out different beaches, towns, and restaurants but loved coming back to the villa. We didn't leave the villa for two of the days we were vacationing--it was just so nice having our own private beautiful getaway. Alex and her father were very nice to deal with. Always quick to respond and stayed in touch before, during, and after our visit to make sure everything went smoothly. We will be back sooner rather than later and plan to extend our stay next time around. It truly was like a dream."

  • Beautiful villa in the perfect location

"We had an amazing stay in Corinne's villa. When we walked in we immediately were blown away by the massive gourmet kitchen and the beautiful glass dining room table and tastefully decorated living area. We were then led out to a beautiful outdoor patio with tons of seating and a beautiful outdoor picnic table which we enjoyed breakfast each day as we gazed out on the marina. The bedrooms are lovely and each has its own balcony, one which also looks out at the beautiful marina. I stayed in the villa with just my girlfriend but it could comfortably fit another couple or two as there's so much space. The location is pretty ideal in that it's away from the craziness and is tucked away in a really beautiful part of the island called oyster pond. We had such a wonderful time and would highly recommend this villa. I am a frequent Airbnb user and this was one of the best stays I have had. Corinne was so helpful and responsive she even helped my girlfriend plan a surprise birthday cake for me ahead of our stay. She also offered to have us stay an extra night free of charge as there was a hurricane approaching New York around the time we were heading back. It was such a nice and warm offer but thankfully we made it home after the storm. All in all 5 stars. Thank you for such a wonderful experience Corinne."

  • We Loved Starfish Villa

"My family and I stayed for a week in this lovely villa. We have rented quite a few villas on many islands over the years and Starfish Villa was probably the nicest villa and best location for a beach lover. Steps from the ocean, a pool, everything very clean, looks as pictured, kitchen is great, beds comfortable, and a lovely beach. The grounds are manicured and well care for, lovely blooming bushes along the walkways. The staff was wonderful and helpful in booking day trips and dinner reservations. It was also nice to have restaurants within walking distance, we loved Big Fish and Canoa. The market was so handy we could walk over and grab fresh baguettes and croissants each morning. This market carried so many grocery items as well as a full selection of wine, beer, and liquor. We were even able to order cocktails and buckets of beers while on our patio, as the beach staff from Mr. Busby's Beach Bar would pop by while patrolling the beach and take drink orders from us. This was a fun service to have as an option, but the kitchen had a huge Viking refridgerator, ice maker, an array of glassware and a blender for frozen drinks. The Oyster Bay Beach Resort was up the beach and was nice for breakfast (we didn't get a chance for dinner)and we had fun at the casino at the Westin, other end of beach. Mama's pizza was a short drive and had delicious brick oven pizza in a very nice outdoorsy setting. Starfish Villa was by far located at the prettiest area of St. Martin (my opinion), the nearby homes & vacation homes were well maintained. I highly recommend this villa and the owners are a very nice couple. You don't really need to rent a car to stay here but taxis don't hang out here. A cab can certainly be arranged for with the office during business hours. As a family of 6 (21years and up) we preferred having a car, more freedom to explore island. We were picked up at the airport upon arrival and the rental car was waiting for us at the villa parking area. The paper work was brought to us for signatures, we never had to hang out at a car rental office. Quick note, the plunge pool is about 4' deep and beautifully situated on the patio. Little ones that don't swim would be tough and kept in some sort of floatation jacket. I will forever miss seeing the sunrises, at the foot of the master bed, each morning. Two emotions that probably best described how we felt while staying at Starfish Villa would be Spoiled Rotten and Grateful."
