  • Beautiful home in a great location. You will love the pool and view.

"We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend the home and come back again. The communication in advance was so helpful. We had never been to St. Marteen before and had all of our questions answered promptly and thoroughly. We were met at the rental car pick up and escorted to the grocery store and then the house which was very helpful. Any minor issues that arose resulted in someone coming to the house to respond immediately. The pool and outdoor area is so lovely that we found it difficult to leave some days. The walk to the Westin only took minutes and was much easier than described. The beach is gorgeous, although we preferred our beautiful pool that was well stocked with pool items and the like. We went to the very nearby Oyster Pond area for great dining almost daily. Everything on the island is so close that we found the quiet and beautiful location to be perfect. But our rental Jeep was a must I would say. There were a couple of minor items on our list. The ice maker in the wet bar and second fridge were both removed. Only one ice maker in the heat made buying ice necessary. The kitchen has a beautiful and huge granite topped island. But it is counter height but has too high bar height stools (that are also lovely). You sit so high you cannot use it for dining! There are also a few items around the property that should be picked up bht nothing that interferes with a 5 star rating. For example, a discarded welcome mat sitting in the garden outside the downstairs suite. Minor items that the managers should be tidying outside. But the housekeeping inside was impeccable and the housekeeper a jewel. We loved the house and out stay. We have already recommended it to others and will look at it again."

  • Gorgeous ocean views

"The photographs don't do this property justice. Overlooking the sea, with a view of St. Bart's, everything was as advertised. We had a wonderful week in St. Maarten/St. Martin. Oyster Pond is located right on the border between the Dutch and French sides of the island, a 10-15 minute drive to Phillipsburg and a 20 minute drive from all the restaurants in Grand Case. We also enjoyed visiting the local creperie and enjoyed meals at Big Fish, Mr. Busby's, and Beau-Beau's. This condo is well-maintained and the owners appear to be conscientious and available. There is a current seaweed problem on the beaches found on the entire Atlantic side of the island (yes, even on Orient Beach), but hopefully that is temporary. There was ample parking on the property, even if you did occasionally have to park some distance from the unit due to high season volume. Overall, a wonderful experience; we hope to return some day."

  • Perfect

"Casa Linda is spectacular - all that it was advertised to be and more! Talk about the million dollar view - this is it. Just gorgeous. The house is huge, beautifully designed and decorated, clean, appliances all work. Oyster Pond is a great area - things to do but not crowded. All of the local restaurants were wonderful, especially Le Planteur. I'd go back in a second. Capt Alan's snorkeling charters out of the bay are reasonably priced and very enjoyable. I'd go with the Jeep next time, though - the access road to the house is extremely steep. Even that got to be fun after a few days. We even saw a monkey right by the house. You won't be disappointed with this rental!"

  • Gorgeous Views from this Condo in Maho!

"My husband and I stayed in this unit for 3 weeks over Christmas. The pictures of the unit are accurate. The size was plenty big enough for the two of us, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked fine. We did go and purchase 2 pillows as the pillows there were flat. Note that the description says that it is a “Lock Out” unit. There is a hollow interior door next to the small table for 2, so you can hear the people next door and smell their food when they cook (if there are renters in there). The bathroom was large, however, we had NO hot water for the first few days, of course when the property manager came, twice, there was hot water surprisingly! Apparently the hotel next door “Alegria” was working on the water lines or something, which affected the building that we were in. Given that there is a non-working elevator, this unit is on the 4th floor, so you get plenty of exercise in with all the stairs! There is also no internet service and you had to go over to the Alegria to use their Wi-Fi. We knew this going in, so it was not a problem for us. The views from the balcony were the best thing about this location!! We enjoyed watching the planes (it was always quiet after 6pm ish) and the cruise ships and large yachts!! We rented a car the entire time and explored the entire island! We took long walks to Simpson Bay; Mullet Bay; Cupecoy… Our favorite area of St. Maarten was Cupecoy! There is an excellent grocery store (Grand Marche) and next to that was an area that had several restaurants. We went to a few of those, which were excellent! We also liked having a couple of our breakfasts at the Green Monkey, which is located at one of the resorts or hotels in Cupecoy – they have a sign at the entrance! Note though that they are cash only! Good food though… We drove over to Marigot on the French side and took the ferry over to Anguilla for a day. We walked to the airport (15 minute walk vs. paying parking at the airport) and took a Winair flight over to St. Barts for a day. It was about $50 more to do this vs. the Edge ferry from Simpson Bay, so it was worth the extra money to take a 10 minute flight vs. a 45 minute ferry ride to St. Barts!! These were great trips!! Overall, we loved St. Maarten and we are returning in November 2016, but we will be staying in Cupecoy!"
