  • Exceeded my expectations!

"I had the pleasure of staying at this condo for 10 days and it exceeded my expectations at how nice it was. The location was close to the top nightlife spots in maho and a short drive away from Simpson bay which has the best restaurants. The condo was also very well equipped and the owner was very understanding and accomadating. I recommend this for travelers who want a comfortable well located spot at an excellent price."

  • Better than expected!

"We had a wonderful 12 night stay at Sea Belle. Close to airport, but didn't hear many flights. Very open floor plan with a wonderful view. The sliding doors open almost the entire wall to the pool and the sea. VERY well equipped...floats, chairs, umbrellas, floats, TV, CDs, bug spray, suntan lotion, coffee pot, coffee filters, foil, plastic wrap, spices, good variety of pots, pans, dishes, paper towels, shampoo, body soap, a safe, W&D, almost daily housekeeping, etc. The bath is new and contemporary. The king bed is very comfortable. Their are two chest of drawers and the closet has hangers. There's even an almost daily gardener that keeps the grounds perfect, washes down the deck and pool chairs. Then dries the chairs off. He even rakes the beach. You are walking distance via the beach to Karakter Beach Bar and Mary's Boon Guest House. Both have good food. The neighborhood is a little run down, but the neighbors are very friendly. We did have a problem with someone parking in our spot. A quick call to the manager soon had that resolved. Not having to have keys was great, every door, gate, etc is coded...couldn't lose key😊򒨊𘀠. If you want to stay on the Dutch side, we would strongly recommend Sea Belle."

  • Gorgeous Views from this Condo in Maho!

"My husband and I stayed in this unit for 3 weeks over Christmas. The pictures of the unit are accurate. The size was plenty big enough for the two of us, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked fine. We did go and purchase 2 pillows as the pillows there were flat. Note that the description says that it is a “Lock Out” unit. There is a hollow interior door next to the small table for 2, so you can hear the people next door and smell their food when they cook (if there are renters in there). The bathroom was large, however, we had NO hot water for the first few days, of course when the property manager came, twice, there was hot water surprisingly! Apparently the hotel next door “Alegria” was working on the water lines or something, which affected the building that we were in. Given that there is a non-working elevator, this unit is on the 4th floor, so you get plenty of exercise in with all the stairs! There is also no internet service and you had to go over to the Alegria to use their Wi-Fi. We knew this going in, so it was not a problem for us. The views from the balcony were the best thing about this location!! We enjoyed watching the planes (it was always quiet after 6pm ish) and the cruise ships and large yachts!! We rented a car the entire time and explored the entire island! We took long walks to Simpson Bay; Mullet Bay; Cupecoy… Our favorite area of St. Maarten was Cupecoy! There is an excellent grocery store (Grand Marche) and next to that was an area that had several restaurants. We went to a few of those, which were excellent! We also liked having a couple of our breakfasts at the Green Monkey, which is located at one of the resorts or hotels in Cupecoy – they have a sign at the entrance! Note though that they are cash only! Good food though… We drove over to Marigot on the French side and took the ferry over to Anguilla for a day. We walked to the airport (15 minute walk vs. paying parking at the airport) and took a Winair flight over to St. Barts for a day. It was about $50 more to do this vs. the Edge ferry from Simpson Bay, so it was worth the extra money to take a 10 minute flight vs. a 45 minute ferry ride to St. Barts!! These were great trips!! Overall, we loved St. Maarten and we are returning in November 2016, but we will be staying in Cupecoy!"

  • Beautiful - New York Visitors

"This is the 3rd time , I have used home away for booking trip to the Caribbean. We are arrived and met Alice at Avis and she was pleasant and escorted the nine of us to the Villa. It was spacious and the pictures represented the home and the group was pleased. Our housekeeper Inrid was accommodating and adjusted her schedule to our needs. I would recommend the home to other guest because it's near the airport, nice view of the ocean, beach and private. The next time, I would stay near Orient Beach and highly recommend the area as well"
