  • Fantastic Vacation

"We enjoyed our week at the condo. The condo was equipped with all we could ask for. The view was absolutely amazing. Dave and Roberta gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Dave was wonderful to work with. We would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend this condo."

  • Unbelievable View

"We just returned home from a beautiful vacation at this villa in St. Maarten. The view is absolutely breath taking, overlooking Dawn Beach and Oyster Pond. The pool situated between the main house and the master suite, was an added bonus, allowing you to relax with a beverage and look out over the Carribean. The children enjoyed swimming at night. All bedrooms have AC for night time but the Caribbean wind keeps the main house cool during the day. The kitchen is well equipped, as we cooked breakfast each morning and made lunches as needed. Bernard and Eudora were so helpful, providing overall care of the house daily. The villa is within walking distance of Oyster Pond and Dawn Beach, which have chair and umbrella rental, a small grocery and great restaurants. Our favorite restaurants at Dawn Beach were Mr. Busby's and Big Fish and favorite restaurant on Oyster Pond was Dinghy Docks. Beautiful Orient Beach and the French Cul De Sac are a short 5-10 minute drive from the villa. Our family spent 2 days at Orient Beach. Brother's Beach Bar had great food and chair and umbrella service. Our kids enjoyed the huge water trampolines. The adults enjoyed very affordable beverages and people watching. We also took the ferry from the French Cul De Sac to beautiful Pinel Island for the day. We ate lunch on the island, rented chairs and umbrellas and snorkeled in the National Geographic underwater trail. Simpson Bay is also a short drive from the Villa. We did 2 excursions from this bay - Catamaran to Anguilla/Dolphin Discovery and off shore fishing. We also ate at Dinghy Docks on Simpson Bay after a long day on the beach. Overall an unbelievable vacation on the Dutch side of the island. We hope to return again soon."

  • Best VRBO Experience!

"As a family of 6 who almost always stays in a VRBO property whenever we travel as well as having owned 2 VRBO properties myself, I have pretty exacting standards for my lodgings! Villa Suzanne hit it out of the park. The whole experience could not have gone smoother from start to finish-not one little hiccup. And then the property itself was truly exceptional. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed (right down to pool floats and a crib for our littlest one)! With four kids, we don't want to bring more than absolutely necessary plus we require a good kitchen set-up! And the the location!! Amazing views from the kitchen, living room and pool deck. Being on the Atlantic side ensured a constant breeze; i.e. it wasn't sweltering hot and no mosquitoes. Dawn Beach was indeed a close walk but we prefer to beach-hop in the Caribbean and Villa Suzanne was well-positioned for us to do just that. The final "cherry on top" were the owners and the housekeeper Catherine. Wonderful wonderful people who are truly excited about St. Martin and want you to have the best experience possible. And we did!"

  • Island Dream Vacation

"Our family of 6 (Children ages 23, 20, 17, 13) stayed at Mille Fleurs for a family vacation. Jack was great to work with and very helpful. We were scheduled to go last July but had to cancel 2 days before departure due to a life threatening illness that happened to my husband. Thankfully, he recovered after a 4-month ordeal! Jack was kind enough to keep the house available for us this summer and even gave us an extra day! Needless to say, this vacation was very sweet for our family and Mille Fleurs was a perfect place to relax and enjoy our family. The photos are no lie...it looks exactly that gorgeous! The view is breathtaking, the pool is large and perfectly maintained. The beach is just a short walk away. It's clear blue waters are soothing to eyes as well as the body. The temperature is ideal for swimming or just wading. We felt very safe there and really loved not hearing any traffic or having any highways to deal with...a true getaway. We ate out a few times during our 10-day stay but really just had fun, shopping at the Super U in Marigot and cooking dinner at home. There is a nice grill and well-stocked kitchen with everything you could want to make a meal, then serve it on nice plates and flatware. There are all kinds of glasses for your beverages, too! We also went to 1 of 2 nearby French pastry shops in the mornings for bread, croissants or pastries...delicious! One thing I loved about being there was having the feeling that we were outside most of the time...even when we were cooking, watching TV or playing games, we could where our bathing suits all day. The bedrooms/bathrooms were air-conditioned and perfect for a great night's sleep. Heither came everyday to bring fresh towels and clean up after us, which was a total luxury since we never have that option when we go to the Outer Banks. We did have to use the bug spray a lot, but it was provided there for us. In all, we had a trip of a lifetime as a family, and we will remember it for years to come. We hope that we will be able to go back again someday in the future. Thanks again!"
