  • Wonderful and relaxing place to stay!!!

"Mary's Boon is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax and be able to walk to the beach in 2 mins or less. My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this villa. It was clean and well appointed. The owner is very easy to work with and alway's answered my many questions right away. The king size bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. The staff was very accommodating and extremely nice. The beach is beautiful and we liked that the chairs and umbrella's were complimentary. We had all the amenities of the hotel even though the villa is privately owned. Our favorite thing to do was to get our coffee, walk out our door and onto the beach for a long walk. Normally we stay across the bay and go to a different beach each day since we really don't like the beach they have, but not here. We only left to go to a different beach on 2 days because we loved this beach so much. The planes were a bit loud the first day but after that you really don't pay attention to them unless it's the KLM 747 taking off. Then you just have to watch!! Lots of restaurants and night life in Simpson's Bay and Karakters restaurant is a walk down the beach. With the new causeway it was less than 10 minutes to Marigot or 20 to Grand Case. We went to Grand Case for Carnival Night on Tuesday and ate at LeTastivan. Excellent service and delicious food. They close off the street that night for vendors, dancers and music. A must if you come to the island. I would definitely recommend Mary's Boon to anyone that loves to relax and enjoy the beach!"

  • Lovely stay at orient beach

"We just recently returned from a lovely stay at Casa Azul. We have rented this villa several times with friends and also other families, and this past trip, two families with four young children. Veronique has always been very responsive and helpful, and this time she left a basket of beach and pool toys, and supplied two cribs and two high chairs for us. She also helped us find an English speaking babysitter so we could enjoy two nights out to dinner away from the kids. The village is very convenient to shop and get croissants and baguettes. We always have a lovely time and can't wait to come back!!"

  • Island Dream Vacation

"Our family of 6 (Children ages 23, 20, 17, 13) stayed at Mille Fleurs for a family vacation. Jack was great to work with and very helpful. We were scheduled to go last July but had to cancel 2 days before departure due to a life threatening illness that happened to my husband. Thankfully, he recovered after a 4-month ordeal! Jack was kind enough to keep the house available for us this summer and even gave us an extra day! Needless to say, this vacation was very sweet for our family and Mille Fleurs was a perfect place to relax and enjoy our family. The photos are no looks exactly that gorgeous! The view is breathtaking, the pool is large and perfectly maintained. The beach is just a short walk away. It's clear blue waters are soothing to eyes as well as the body. The temperature is ideal for swimming or just wading. We felt very safe there and really loved not hearing any traffic or having any highways to deal with...a true getaway. We ate out a few times during our 10-day stay but really just had fun, shopping at the Super U in Marigot and cooking dinner at home. There is a nice grill and well-stocked kitchen with everything you could want to make a meal, then serve it on nice plates and flatware. There are all kinds of glasses for your beverages, too! We also went to 1 of 2 nearby French pastry shops in the mornings for bread, croissants or pastries...delicious! One thing I loved about being there was having the feeling that we were outside most of the time...even when we were cooking, watching TV or playing games, we could where our bathing suits all day. The bedrooms/bathrooms were air-conditioned and perfect for a great night's sleep. Heither came everyday to bring fresh towels and clean up after us, which was a total luxury since we never have that option when we go to the Outer Banks. We did have to use the bug spray a lot, but it was provided there for us. In all, we had a trip of a lifetime as a family, and we will remember it for years to come. We hope that we will be able to go back again someday in the future. Thanks again!"

  • Beautiful home in a great location. You will love the pool and view.

"We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend the home and come back again. The communication in advance was so helpful. We had never been to St. Marteen before and had all of our questions answered promptly and thoroughly. We were met at the rental car pick up and escorted to the grocery store and then the house which was very helpful. Any minor issues that arose resulted in someone coming to the house to respond immediately. The pool and outdoor area is so lovely that we found it difficult to leave some days. The walk to the Westin only took minutes and was much easier than described. The beach is gorgeous, although we preferred our beautiful pool that was well stocked with pool items and the like. We went to the very nearby Oyster Pond area for great dining almost daily. Everything on the island is so close that we found the quiet and beautiful location to be perfect. But our rental Jeep was a must I would say. There were a couple of minor items on our list. The ice maker in the wet bar and second fridge were both removed. Only one ice maker in the heat made buying ice necessary. The kitchen has a beautiful and huge granite topped island. But it is counter height but has too high bar height stools (that are also lovely). You sit so high you cannot use it for dining! There are also a few items around the property that should be picked up bht nothing that interferes with a 5 star rating. For example, a discarded welcome mat sitting in the garden outside the downstairs suite. Minor items that the managers should be tidying outside. But the housekeeping inside was impeccable and the housekeeper a jewel. We loved the house and out stay. We have already recommended it to others and will look at it again."
