  • Wonderful Holiday

"When we walked into the apartment, we knew immediately how lucky we were to have found it, especially in high season. The apartment is top notch - everything we hoped it would be and more - spacious, tastefully furnished, and outfitted with all the appliances and utensils our family of six needed. The common area as well as each bedroom has its own balcony overlooking the sea and with sunset views it was so nice to sit and relax with a glass of wine after a day at the beach. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The Cliff has all the accommodations of a resort - pools, café, gym, beachfront - and the elevator assigned to the A / B wing is very private and opens to only two apartments on each floor. The location is great with good restaurants are right across the street, within walking distance. A warm thank you to the owners for helping to make our holiday so special. We definitely will go back and we highly recommend this property."

  • Gorgeous ocean views

"The photographs don't do this property justice. Overlooking the sea, with a view of St. Bart's, everything was as advertised. We had a wonderful week in St. Maarten/St. Martin. Oyster Pond is located right on the border between the Dutch and French sides of the island, a 10-15 minute drive to Phillipsburg and a 20 minute drive from all the restaurants in Grand Case. We also enjoyed visiting the local creperie and enjoyed meals at Big Fish, Mr. Busby's, and Beau-Beau's. This condo is well-maintained and the owners appear to be conscientious and available. There is a current seaweed problem on the beaches found on the entire Atlantic side of the island (yes, even on Orient Beach), but hopefully that is temporary. There was ample parking on the property, even if you did occasionally have to park some distance from the unit due to high season volume. Overall, a wonderful experience; we hope to return some day."

  • Perfect vacation

"The penthouse exceeded our wildest expectations. There was so much space and it was stocked with everything, even beach towels. The views from the balconies are to die for. We were there in mid-July and it was quite hot, but the condo always remained cool especially after we returned in the evenings and all the fans and AC had been turned off during the heat of the day. The maid cleaned mid-week and spent hours there, much more in depth than anything we would have expected. I highly recommend Karakter Beach Bar & Cafe where the beach chairs and umbrellas are always free and food and drinks are reasonably priced. It's a short 10 minute walk down the beach. We rented a Jeep and toured the island. Mullet Bay is a "must visit" spot. John and Sharon answered every question we had prior to the trip and even checked in on us during our vacation. We really appreciate their recommendation for Cafe Atlantico right around the corner, which became our go to spot for breakfast that week. This was truly a special spot for a very special vacation."

  • Excellent family vacation

"Our "extended" family--our 3 kids and 2 of their friends--spent a fabulous week at Villa Pom. We wanted to be close enough to a variety of activities, while not feeling boxed in by a dense resort. Maly was very helpful getting us off to a good start, and I texted her throughout the week for tips and recommendations. The beach out side the house is not really a lounging beach, though the pool is a great future. We took full advantage of the kayaks to get a bit of a workout on our way to Pinel Island, before plopping into a chaise to lounge away the afternoon with cold drinks and great food. The hammock was always occupied--the kids always got to it before I could. Easy access to Orient Beach and Grand Case. Lots of water sports. We were there in low season, so some places were closed. That said, we never had to wait for anything. Great restaurants in Grand Case, though they seem to collude on price!! Other than the barbecue joints, all menus were in the same range, so we ended up spending more than intended to feed our crew of 7. The house, itself, was well appointed, and the beds (at least the one in the master) was among the most comfortable beds in which I've ever slept. My wife and I would readily return, either with the kids or with a few other couples."
