  • Awesome week

"Rick was great to work with. We absolutely loved the place . Had great views and excellent hotel style services; if desired. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place in st martin to get away from the crowded touristy simpson bay and phillipsburg. There are a few stairs to climb but not anything noticeable. Nearby oyster bay restaurants and beautiful view of ocean. Thank you Rick"

  • Location, Location, Location

"I've just returned from a month in Catalina apartment. You could not ask for a better address in Grand Case. The apartment had direct access to the beach with a view of the Caribbean unmatched regardless of price. A few steps out the front door and you have your choice of the top rated restaurants in St. Martin. Within the block, there is a bakery, small grocer, a spa and numerous clothing and beach related shops. The apartment is as pictured with the exception of there being no TVs in the bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped; the baths and bedrooms larger than expected. There is one correction that needs to be made to the listing. It is by no means handicapped accessible. The location is on the second floor, some 16 steps up. The beach is a second flight of stairs down from the lobby. As I have problems with mobility, it presented a daily challenge. Finally, my thanks to Phillipe who was more than helpful. When there was a problem or question he was available to solve or answer the concern. And to Jean Pierre and Isabelle who are kind enough to share this outstanding location. Merci!"

  • Fantastic Vacation

"What a beautiful home. This is the second time we have stayed at Fiddler's Green. The house was in great shape and the amenities, where should I start? The owner, Suzanne is great to work with. She answers all questions promptly and is very fair with her guests. The caretakers are priceless. Justin and Moreen go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. The house has beautiful views and a nice breeze through out. The pool area is the perfect spot when you return from exploring the island to enjoy a cocktail. The kitchen is well appointed. There are several restaurants nearby. Our favorite day was when we rented a yacht and toured around the entire island. The yacht rentals are 2 minutes away. We can't wait to return to Fiddler's Green Susan C"

  • Gorgeous Views from this Condo in Maho!

"My husband and I stayed in this unit for 3 weeks over Christmas. The pictures of the unit are accurate. The size was plenty big enough for the two of us, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked fine. We did go and purchase 2 pillows as the pillows there were flat. Note that the description says that it is a “Lock Out” unit. There is a hollow interior door next to the small table for 2, so you can hear the people next door and smell their food when they cook (if there are renters in there). The bathroom was large, however, we had NO hot water for the first few days, of course when the property manager came, twice, there was hot water surprisingly! Apparently the hotel next door “Alegria” was working on the water lines or something, which affected the building that we were in. Given that there is a non-working elevator, this unit is on the 4th floor, so you get plenty of exercise in with all the stairs! There is also no internet service and you had to go over to the Alegria to use their Wi-Fi. We knew this going in, so it was not a problem for us. The views from the balcony were the best thing about this location!! We enjoyed watching the planes (it was always quiet after 6pm ish) and the cruise ships and large yachts!! We rented a car the entire time and explored the entire island! We took long walks to Simpson Bay; Mullet Bay; Cupecoy… Our favorite area of St. Maarten was Cupecoy! There is an excellent grocery store (Grand Marche) and next to that was an area that had several restaurants. We went to a few of those, which were excellent! We also liked having a couple of our breakfasts at the Green Monkey, which is located at one of the resorts or hotels in Cupecoy – they have a sign at the entrance! Note though that they are cash only! Good food though… We drove over to Marigot on the French side and took the ferry over to Anguilla for a day. We walked to the airport (15 minute walk vs. paying parking at the airport) and took a Winair flight over to St. Barts for a day. It was about $50 more to do this vs. the Edge ferry from Simpson Bay, so it was worth the extra money to take a 10 minute flight vs. a 45 minute ferry ride to St. Barts!! These were great trips!! Overall, we loved St. Maarten and we are returning in November 2016, but we will be staying in Cupecoy!"
