  • Wonderful and relaxing place to stay!!!

"Mary's Boon is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax and be able to walk to the beach in 2 mins or less. My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this villa. It was clean and well appointed. The owner is very easy to work with and alway's answered my many questions right away. The king size bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. The staff was very accommodating and extremely nice. The beach is beautiful and we liked that the chairs and umbrella's were complimentary. We had all the amenities of the hotel even though the villa is privately owned. Our favorite thing to do was to get our coffee, walk out our door and onto the beach for a long walk. Normally we stay across the bay and go to a different beach each day since we really don't like the beach they have, but not here. We only left to go to a different beach on 2 days because we loved this beach so much. The planes were a bit loud the first day but after that you really don't pay attention to them unless it's the KLM 747 taking off. Then you just have to watch!! Lots of restaurants and night life in Simpson's Bay and Karakters restaurant is a walk down the beach. With the new causeway it was less than 10 minutes to Marigot or 20 to Grand Case. We went to Grand Case for Carnival Night on Tuesday and ate at LeTastivan. Excellent service and delicious food. They close off the street that night for vendors, dancers and music. A must if you come to the island. I would definitely recommend Mary's Boon to anyone that loves to relax and enjoy the beach!"

  • First trip to St. Maarten definitely not the last

"I give this a 5 star with mixed feelings. We'd like to keep it all to ourselves. Brian was excellent to work with. He responded very quickly to all my emails and questions. A pleasure to work with. Now about the condo. Excellent location, very easy to get to. The condo is as pictured, very clean, plenty of towels. Pretty much everything you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation. The washer and dryer were a big plus after a day at a beach washing the beach towels. Felt right at home in the condo. The pool area was very nice. Most of the time spent there we felt like it was our private pool. Great place to relax and get some sun. Now location. Like I said very easy to get to. We walked down to Maho beach several times. Seeing the planes come in is a must. Walked to center of Maho several nights and felt very safe. Street lights from condo all the way down the street. Mullet beach can be walked to or a very short drive with plenty of parking and a very beautiful beach. Another must go to. Rented a car and drove all over the island. Word of advice on driving pay attention. When they say set your watch to island time because its a slow and relaxed time that doesn't include driving. Everybody is in a hurry to get nowhere fast and motorcycles and scooters think the center line is for them so just pay attention and all will be good. Great food and plenty to do on this island. Rent this condo and you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Brian for a wonderful place to stay. Made for a great vacation."

  • WOW, WOW, WOW is right!

"This home is absolutely beautiful, with one of the most well equipped kitchens of any home we've rented. We've rented places in Anguilla, St. John, Virgin Gorda, Tortola, and many places in the U.S. and this is, without question, one of the best homes we've rented. It is clean, wonderful kitchen, SUPER comfortable beds/pillows with a view worth a million dollars. Watching the boats come and go througout the day was so much fun. It was also great that you can walk to restaurants vs. always getting into the car, although, a car is neccesary to explore the island and check out different restaurants and beach bars. Thank you for opening your wonderful home to us & for being so incredibly easy to work with."

  • Another Outstanding Stay at Son Risa

"And come back we did...for another delightful 3 weeks in March 2016. We have so fallen in love with Son Risa that we booked for 2017 instead of planning a summer trip to Italy. Now that's commitment! Thanks so much Mac and Jack for sharing your beautiful condo with us."
