"We rented an oceanfront room for three days over Old Year's Night and into the new year. The owners, Eve and JP, are very friendly, personable, kind, and run a clean, quaint and charming inn of studio apartments. We were able to see all Palm Beach fireworks from our comfortable, well-appointed porch. We walk everywhere, and this location is about a mile north of the Palm Beach high rise hotels, yet, far more user-friendly, feeling like home, but still accommodated. My husband and I highly recommend, the Aruba Sunset Beach Studios, and will return to stay if the opportunity presents."

  • Pure Paradise!

"Just spent a wonderful week at this cottage. It has everything you need, the yard is shaded with a full view of the beach. With 2 picnic benches, a hammock and 3 lounge chairs. We made use of the Kayaks everyday and must have traveled the island in the golf cart 15 times. It is centrally located and right around the corner from Papa Scoops which is a nightly ritual! The beds are comfortable, shower pressure is great and the house has all you need to enjoy your stay. Daphne is a great host and makes you feel at home. The island feels surreal as you are so safe and no one locks their doors! The fishing and snorkeling are wonderful. I would recommend this home if you are visiting Spanish Wells. We feel that this island is a well kept secret, one we hope doesn't get out!"

  • Heaven!

"We first stayed at Rebecca's Fancy over Thanksgiving 2016 and loved it so much....we returned on Christmas Day and stayed through New Years 2017! It is perfect for a couple who really want to get away from it all. The cottage is adorable, very clean, comfortable, well stocked with everything one would need (minus a full size oven, but that is ok for us because we love to grill). You wake up to roosters and the sounds of the sea which is literally across the road with nothing else around you! The view is beautiful and Hansen's Bay is remote, doesn't get crowded except for Sunday Funday when the local folks love to come and bring their dogs, which we loved. We met lots of interesting people and got our dog fix especially with the official Hansen Bay pooch, Fred who is a sweet black pit bull who loves to retrieve coconuts out of the water and wants to swim with everyone! We loved Hansen Bay because we love to snorkel and the water is pretty calm there and there are lots of reefs to explore. Kayaking and Paddle boarding are great here as well. The owners of the property live above the cottage and are incredibly warm and helpful. If you're lucky, you may even get a jar of honey that the owner gathers herself! I would say that you must have a car if you're staying on the East End and that taxi's are tough to get out there. If you go at Christmas, you MUST reserve your jeep as far ahead of time as possible! Skinny Legs and Indigo Grill are a short drive away and were our favorites. We love to cook so we got a big load of groceries from Cruz Bay and stocked the fridge...I would recommend doing that because even though it isn't far distance wise, the speed limit and terrain can make that trip longer. Overall, there isn't much traffic except for downtown Cruz Bay. We highly recommend staying here if you love serenity and nature!"

  • Wonderful Home Away From Home...

"We have been renting La Belle Vie for many years and can't imagine staying anywhere else! The house feels fresh and clean with lovely furnishings, crisp cotton bedding, and every comfort. We have stayed in luxury hotels in St. John, St. Thomas and St. Barth's, and have discovered that our entire family of 5 (plus the occasional grandparent) prefers Marjorie's La Belle Vie on St. Barth's to any other place we have been. The kids (now teens) think of it as "their" place and won't even consider going anywhere else - affordable, easy, lovely - we aways experience 'the good life' at La Belle Vie!!"
