  • Smooth Rental Experience on Grand Cayman

"This was our third time visiting Cayman, having stayed in different condo's each time. Frank and Del are reliable and trustworthy people willing to share their home on the best area Cayman has to offer. We arrived to an extremely clean and well-kept home with everything we needed. As others have said, this is the quiet side of the island, however there are groceries and restaurants to the east or west, just minutes away. We've snorkeled all over the island, and the reef right out front is up there with the best sites anywhere. There were several days of very windy northeast conditions that didn't allow for snorkeling or beach-going; but no worries...a 10-minute drive to Frank Sound or Governor's Beach and you're on the leeward side of the island. There were 6 of us staying here and everyone had plenty of elbow room and privacy. Thanks again to Frank and Del for sharing their place!"

  • Best Vacation EVER!

"After 20 years of marriage, my wife and I made our first trip to the US Virgin Islands. Saint John was all we were told it would be .... and more. Making this the perfect "second honeymoon", was largely due to finding Memory Makers. The flight to Saint Thomas airport from Virginia was easy and short. An exhilarating taxi ride to red Hook ( the island roads all twist and turn) and a fast ferry trip to Cruz Bay landed us a mere three blocks from the condo. The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. There are even beach things in a bin on the patio balcony. To call the condo luxurious, is a bit of an understatement. Marble and glass everywhere, wonderful bathrooms, the best bed I ever slept on, exquisite decorations ... and a TV/entertainment system on steroids. But, the better thing is how "comfortable" it is. Every item we needed for cooking, comfort, laundry, etc. was already there. On an island where shopping is not as simple as in the states, this is a huge plus. The view from the balcony was the best I could have asked for. Full view of the bay and harbor, the other islands in the background , and stunning sunsets. The owners had made great suggestions for day trips, places to eat, and things to see. There was a dive shop right at the end of the condos, a quick walk of a block to The Beach Bar ( great for quick snacks, rum punch, and Limin' D'coconut). The rest of the shops and restaurants are in the next few blocks. Transportation on the island is simple - you just climb in the back of any "taxi" ( cleverly converted pick-up trucks) and go anywhere on the island for $5. There are more restaurants than one could visit in a month, and as far as we could tell, all are excellent. The weather is nice (warm and sunny), and you can easily walk anywhere in Cruz Bay. We recommend any who comes to take a day trip to Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. Visiting Foxy's and Soggy Dollar are something everyone should do at least once in their life. To sum it all up, Memory Makers made our vacation more enjoyable, and made us promise to come back again next year."

  • A taste of real living on St John

"In March 2016 my husband and I spent a week on St Thomas, and visited St John for a day. That day trip was the best day of the week....I fell in LOVE with St John. So we booked the week after Xmas 2016 for a week on St John. We really had no idea what to expect for the lodging, and honestly were a bit disappointed there was no "view" but the price was right and Trevor was great to work with as we set up our reservations. It was a GREAT week, and not only do I love St John even more than I did, and would move there if I could, but the uniqueness and authenticity of where we stayed was beautiful. We were not in a resort, and not with a bunch of other "tourists"....but with real people who live on the island. The drive in was quite daunting, (wow what a driveway) and things could be updated a bit, but I loved the experience in Peaceful Cottages. The price is more than great, for not only the lodging but for the car rental as well. We were able to go all over the island and enjoy every second. I was thrilled to hear the sounds of nature every night and morning. Trevor was so helpful and accommodating. My 11 year old daughter adored Jackie the dog...and I am surprised she didn't try to take him along with us home. Having the outdoor kitchen was such a lovely experience, and nice to have the accommodations to eat in if we wished. The bed was very comfortable...we slept well and sound...especially after our active days. I highly suggest eating at Morgan's Mango...and desserts at the Ocean Grill are out of this world. Snorkeling at Waterlemon Cay is a MUST...especially at the small beach after you hike in. And our favorite beach is Cinnamon Bay. :) Thank you Trevor for the wonderful trip, and memories we will cherish! We have already referred your place to others considering an island visit."

  • Great week at Villa Sirenetta

"Great location, incredible view, and very nice indoor and outdoor living spaces. We stayed 8/27 - 9/03 - in the heart of the off-season - so it was very quiet and secluded. Lots of amenities, we got great use out of the cooler, ice packs, and beach chairs, as well as the outdoor shower and pool. We didn't cook in much but the kitchen is well appointed with a great gas stove. Leanne and Sylvia were very helpful and a joy to work with. We hope to stay at Sirenetta again."
