  • Family 2015 Vacation

"We had a wonderful week at Villa Les Acajous. Having been to St. Barts many times, we had never visited in September and didn't know that many restaurants and stores are closed for the month. Our family wanted to snorkel and take a catamaran around the island, to Colombier and we had no luck calling or finding anyone available. We called Les Acajous house owner Marie Claude and she was able to find a catamaran and a sailor to take us out. It was one of the most spectacular days of our lives. Marie Claude was the most hands on home owner we have ever rented from in St. Barts and we highly recommend renting from her. Les Acajous is centrally located, right near St. Jean beach, and a six minute drive from downtown Gustavia. The pool is well kept and the house is extremely clean. There are two large, harmless, iguanas that reside near the home (a thrill to see!) If you are a family of 4-6, Les Acajous is a perfect place to stay!"

  • Marvelous Holiday @ Villa La Case du Roy!

"My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Villa La Case du Roy in celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary. We were so fortunate to have stayed at Villa La Case du Roy on St. Barth. The Villa which Jocelyne and her husband have created to host and share with guests to the island is a delight to experience. Communication during our inquiry and booking with Jocelyne was always prompt and courteous. Jocelyne was very kind to meet us at the airport and guide us the short distance to the Villa in the Anse Des Cayes neighborhood. As others have noted the location is ideally situated to access the markets, and stores by the airport--the beaches of St. Jean, Flamands, Corossol, as well as Gustavia; and certainly Anse Des Cayes itself. As always one is never far from any of St Barth's beautiful beaches and we appreciated the beach umbrella, chairs, and cooler that Jocelyne provided for us to use. The Villa La Case du Roy is nestled in a residential area and although there is an adjacent business--a beverage distributor--we never lacked for comfort and privacy. The villa looks out on the water at the edge of the Baie de St. Jean and across to the Pointe Milou and one of our favorite locations on St. Barth to take in the sunset--the Hotel Christopher. One can take in the rising sun from this eastern facing entrance to the villa where as the pictures depict their are couches and chairs, a dining table, as well as my favorite--a hammock--their is an awning and screens to provide shade and a sun break. Lunch or dinner taken on the same entrance deck allows one to admire the changing colors and hues of water and by night the shimmering lights of Pointe Milou as well stars in the sky. The interior of the Villa is very tastefully decorated and we particularly appreciated the welcome food and beverages in the kitchen, screens for sliding doors, air conditioning in the main part of the villa as well as the bedroom, the ensuite and large bathroom with two sinks, and the electric hurricane shutters in the bedroom if one wished to keep out the morning light. The courtyard in the back of the villa is a wonderful sanctuary of peace and tranquility with lovely steps and plantings, a shading seating area, gas grill, lounger chairs with umbrella, and a jacuzzi that is relaxing and refreshing by day or by night. The Villa La Case du Roy is a destination unto itself on this island of wonderful delights and destinations. Merci Beaucoup Jocelyne! Peter et Jennifer"

  • Outstanding experience

"My family (my wife, two children age 5 and 7 and myself) just had the most glorious week at Villa Rosebud. The villa is exactly as described with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, an equally comfortable and well appointed living area, and a terrific approx. 10x20 foot pool. As fantastic as the villa is, its location is just as good... 5 minutes (by car of course and the parking next to the villa is perfect) to Gustavia or St Jean (our favorite beach), less than that to the terrific bakery on the road to Flamands, and less than 2 minutes to a charming and surprisingly well stocked mini-mart just up the road. The daily housekeeper visits were more than just little neaten ups, they were full on cleanings. The owner, Chantal, is a pleasure to work with as well. The square footage listed currently of 300 sq feet is just not accurate (typo?). I would estimate it closer to 900 not including the outdoor seating area by the pool which adds another 500. I looked at a lot of villas before settling on this one and I was the family hero for finding it."
